Just back from 7 night stay at Villa Erede’s 2 bed apartment with private terrace. Very happy with apartment, better than we hoped. Entry through private ground floor door, bathroom on right, one bedroom opposite, then through another door to open plan kitchen, living / dining room with double door to terrace and courtyard. Other bedroom off dining room. Bathroom had great walk in shower, very powerful, always plenty of hot water. Lots of storage. Large supply of toilet paper and liquid hand soap provided. Plus (very weak) hairdryer etc. we got huge amount of towels - probable one for each day (did not use all). Bedrooms were identical in size, comfortable firm mattresses, and plenty of space, wardrobe and chest of drawer each, good bedside lamps perfect for reading. Bedroom 1 had a fan, presumably because not near air con which was only in living room, adjacent to bedroom 2. Not needed during our stay, as used shutters to keep sun out. Modern windows, all easy to use. Kitchen had large fridge and 3 drawer freezer, plus lots of amenities and utensils including kettle, plenty of dish towels, bin bags (bins outside just opposite), ice cubes, salt, pepper, sugar, instant coffee etc. Table with comfy chairs, and a sofa. TV. Outside terrace was lovely, with canopy, large table and 5 chairs. Clothes dryer. Iron and board also available. Situated in clean and attractive courtyard which also provided access to upper apartment and rooms, and house opposite where cleaner for flats lives. Felt safe, even though heavy gate to street unlocked. Our patio doors only locked from inside, therefore used our front door to enter. Location excellent, a gentle 5 minute stroll down but not steep, where small grocery shop was (almost opposite apartment), and lovely cafes where we breakfasted every day and had drinks in friendly Italian cafe. We’re met at taxi by friendly host and booked taxi transfers (€105 return) via them too which worked smoothly. Loved everything about our stay and planning to be back!
