As you can see in the pictures, the lobby and rooms are bright and spotless, with no unpleasant odors. 【Bed and Air Conditioning】The mattress is very soft, not cheap bedding, and feels great against the skin. You don't even need to put on a sheet cover, which is very convenient! The air conditioning is also very powerful, yet it's surprisingly quiet, not disturbing your rest—better than many five-star hotels! 【Entertainment Facilities】The pool table is relatively new. I played a couple of games there every day—so comfortable! Also, there's even a free Switch on the second floor—can you believe it?! 【Food】The owner was incredibly welcoming, recommending many restaurants on the first day and even picking us up and dropping us off. None of them were bad! Especially the **Shell Boxed Meals—yyds! I ate there for a week! [Fun] The owner is quite playful; he brought a drone to play with us. A few of us went to a small canyon with Danxia landforms. This place was even more interesting than Xiaodongjiang, which I visited later, because it was undeveloped and more pristine! [Other] The owner also sang karaoke with us and introduced me to a song called ”Post-Rock” (or ”Slow Rock,” I can't quite remember). The song was fun, but it didn't do justice to the owner's personal charm. His goal this year seems to be skydiving or paragliding; I wish him success! [Summary] Danxia red cliffs reflected in the setting sun, Chenzhou is like a dream, no need to return! Mugen Youth Hostel, definitely worth a stay!

The room was nice and quiet. Very close to the scenic spot. The air in the mountain area is very good and the scenery is beautiful. The owner is very welcoming, has a special breakfast, tastes good, and the trip is very relaxing and happy.

The rooms are decent, and there's a restaurant where you can order food, which is delicious. The B&B is nestled in the mountains, so the air is quite good, and you can enjoy some fresh air in the rest area at the entrance.

This is my second time staying at Gaoyiling Inn. The overall experience is still full. It is comfortable and comfortable throughout the whole process. I really feel that it is especially wise to choose here. I went with my friend and our stay was amazing! The room was very spacious, with two beds, and very clean. The place is located very close to the entrance of the main attraction park, and on the side you can also find unofficial hiking paths that are popular on social media. The highlight was the staff, who had the best attitude and were super friendly and helpful. You can also have a brilliant breakfast for only 10 yuan, which will give you energy for a full day of hiking. A friendly and adorable tabby cat named Xiaohu will fill your heart's content! 🤣😍 The lovely young lady owner of the guesthouse provides impeccable service. We stayed here for four nights and thoroughly explored Mangshan's East and West Gates and the surrounding area. The guesthouse is clean, with plenty of hot water and air conditioning that's both warm and cool. The price is reasonable, and it's close to the scenic area entrance with many delicious restaurants nearby. Tips: 1. There's a great Tujia restaurant about 50 meters away with large bowls of dishes. The Yao ethnic minority owner is very friendly and the portions are generous. Recommended dishes: Chicken hotpot, bighead carp hotpot, fern root rice cakes, dry-pot cauliflower, and various stir-fries are all excellent. 2. The guesthouse doesn't have an elevator, so you'll have to carry large luggage. There's no refrigerator. A microwave is provided for simple food heating. 3. There's a pretty good breakfast place next door that makes ”pig-killing noodles,” or you can turn right at the alley in front of the Liangxin B&B and find a local breakfast shop with good steamed dumplings and rice noodle rolls. 4. The ticket for entering through the West Gate is for two days. Remember, if you want to explore the General's Village scenic area, you must go counter-clockwise… If you don't believe it, you can try going clockwise 🤣 5. If it's cold, after one person finishes showering, the next person should wait a bit, otherwise there might not be enough hot water.

On the first day of dinner, I ordered a mouth-swinging, very fresh! When I was a child, I was stuck in the shadow of the fish and I kept saying that I didn't eat fish. This is the first time I have eaten so many fish in a meal, and there is no fishy smell! delicious! Slowly eat, I can't eat the leftover tail. If you don't eat spicy food, you can tell the boss. There are many green plants on the backing of the house, and occasionally there will be small insects. You can prepare mosquito repellent supplies. The overall experience is very satisfactory!

The hotel is not far from the high speed railway station. If you walk from the station towards the hotel, there is a very nice restaurant which you cross during the walk. In the morning you can buy dumplings nearby. The accommodation has only smoking rooms, at least when we checked in all the rooms we could choose smelled dirty. I hoped they openen the windows every day and night to get some fresh air. At the end this is what we did. There were a lot of other guests, but we did not hear them at all. The bathroom is standard and it can use a huge cleaning. Unfortunately there are no proper (throw away) slippers. For us one night was ok because we took the train the next morning.
