"I found this hotel on Ctrip. It's said to be one of the best five-star hotels in Chenzhou. The lobby exudes the grandeur expected of a five-star hotel. The front desk representative, Xiao Ou, was warm and attentive, always accommodating my needs. Seeing I was traveling with my child, she upgraded me to a quieter room and provided breakfast for my child—such a thoughtful gesture. The room was clean and tidy. While it didn't have the automatic curtains and other features of some smart hotels, the service more than made up for it. The cleaning lady noticed I was doing laundry and brought me laundry detergent. She also provided a variety of fruits every day. The breakfast was rich and varied, including Chenzhou specialties like fish noodles and pig-killing noodles, which my children loved."

"The hygiene was extremely poor. First, the tabletop wasn't wiped at all. However, the tabletop in the second room was also covered in dust. It was truly terrifying. When I entered the room, the air conditioning was extremely cold, and the power card was still plugged in. I don't know if someone had been resting there before I arrived. After changing me to the second room, the air conditioning wasn't turned on. Oh, and there was no water in the first room… it felt like it had been drunk. I will never come back. The pictures I posted show the tabletops and sheets in two different rooms; they were all dirty. I didn't ask for a third room because the front desk staff was quite nice, and I didn't want to make things difficult for them, but it was truly unacceptable, especially the second picture. "The itinerary was basic, but the hotel was anything but. We stayed at a truly elegant hotel on the other side of the Xiaodong River. I pondered for a long time what words to describe it. It had a wabi-sabi feel, yet the details were human and warm. It had a traditional style, yet the rooms reflected a technological and modern aesthetic. Finally, I realized this might be the "quality" we were looking for. It's said that the owner had previously worked as a teacher, then achieved financial independence by starting a tech company. In his 50s, he built a hotel, freed from worldly scrutiny and able to design and operate it to his own taste. In the evening, I sat in the lounge, enjoying a rich cocktail, listening to the graceful guzheng music, and observing the beautiful young women. All my emotional wrinkles were smoothed out, leaving behind a stable core. Not only the food and accommodation, but also the hotel's cultural experience programs were thoughtfully curated. The hotel also has its own dock with direct access to the Xiaodong River Visitor Center on the other side. Riding on a bamboo raft, the river breeze caressed my face, making me feel that life is beautiful and life is precious."

We were woken up by loud music in the morning, both in the room and down the hallway. A staff member came and turned it off, but how were we supposed to sleep?! I've never seen such a bizarre hotel! I'm giving 0.5 stars to the two young men who helped with our luggage; otherwise, I'd give it a negative score!"

The water in the separate bathhouse is released at a fixed time every night. The two bathhouses we booked have mahjong tables. Children like it very much. There is also a small courtyard surrounded by bamboo trees and roses, which makes everyone feel relaxed. Maybe there were too many people when I checked in, so it was basically a state of not having what you wanted and adding what you wanted. There are only two bottles of mineral water, and you have to pay extra to buy it. Inside, there's KTV on the 2nd floor, a billiard room and kids' playground on the 3rd, and a swimming pool and dance studio on the 5th! It's perfect for young people looking for a fun spot. The rooms are clean and the service is great. The local specialty fish noodles for breakfast are especially worth recommending!"

"This new hotel was a fantastic experience! The room facilities were brand new and clean, with thoughtful details. The bathroom had motion-sensor lights that provided soft, warm light that wasn't harsh on the eyes, making it very safe to move around at night. The entire room supported Tmall Genie smart control; curtains, lights, and air conditioning could all be adjusted by voice, and white noise could be played before bed. I slept very well every night for five consecutive nights. The hairdryer had plenty of power and dried my hair very efficiently. The hotel had a gym and a self-service laundry room, making daily life very convenient. There was a bus stop just a hundred meters away, and they also offered ride-sharing options for attractions, making travel both economical and hassle-free."
