The room facilities were all new, and the provided tissues were of good quality, but the soundproofing in the rooms wasn't great. A few men were playing cards and smoking in the lobby downstairs, which wasn't ideal and disturbed others. The guesthouse does have private rooms for playing cards and mahjong; I'd actually recommend that smokers use those rooms.

__WeChat292514****The B&B's location is excellent. During the day, you can explore to the left, where there are many makeup and styling shops. It's also close if you want to experience a boat ride. In the evening, you can head to the right, near the Baijianlou, to enjoy Pingtan (storytelling and ballad singing) with a three-course tea, and the photo opportunities are stunning. If you're particular about sleep quality, I recommend booking a room on the second floor.

GGuest UserI wanted to visit Nanxun with my mother on a whim, and found this homestay online. It was a pleasant surprise. The environment was very clean, and the facilities in the house were clean. There was no peculiar smell. I was very satisfied. The boss was also very nice. I was very satisfied. Another point was that the boss also opened a Hanfu shop. Don’t worry about stepping on thunder, babies! ! The makeup and styling were really amazing. It fulfilled my mother’s Hanfu dream! The ladies in the Hanfu shop were also very nice, and the service was even better. I especially recommend everyone to come. Oh, by the way, the Hanfu shop is called ”Nanzhiyi Hanfu Experience Hall” in the ancient town. It is very convenient. The trip to Nanxun ended successfully. I was satisfied with the homestay and the makeup and styling. What are you waiting for, babies! !

SSiea LiangIt was a pleasant experience staying here. Logistic wise, Nan Xun old town was just directly opposite the hotel. Regardless travelling with public transport or self-drive, it’s just so convenient and easy- accessible.
The room was beyond my expectation - it’s super clean and well organised. The design of the room was user friendly, especially the wet & dry separation of toilet. The big window with a nice view was just astonishing.
There is no lift in the hotel but for me who is travelling light, it’s not an issue at all. You may request lower floor if needed.
Staff were friendly & welcoming. They are 24/7 readily to help. I think for a foreigner like me, this is a hotel that I feel at home and want to stay longer.

MM39955****The hotel is in a great location, just a 3-minute walk from Taihu Lake. The room, while a bit dated, was nicely appointed. The bathroom facilities were average, and lacked an exhaust fan, making it quite stuffy. Disposable towels and other items were acceptable, but the bath products were terrible. I've never used such a terrible shampoo before; my hair was itchy the next day. I strongly recommend changing it; it's not expensive, but it significantly impacts the experience.
I also found a very funny translation.

AAnonymous UserConnecting to the Wi-Fi requires a universal key; the hotel doesn't provide the password. (Why am I bothered by the universal key? Because it's a notoriously problematic app.) The disposable toiletries bags provided by the hotel have inconspicuous openings and are difficult to tear open; it took some effort to finally open them with scissors and a toothpick.
The communal washing machine on the second floor was very dusty. 😥😥😥
