I would highly recommend Changdi Inn, housed in a family owned tulou in a peaceful spot by the river in the village. a very unique experience! Our host Steven spoke great English and was the most friendly and helpful host. Our dinner was prepared by the mother and we could enjoy that and breakfast in the tulou courtyard. Very special !

The location is right in the scenic area, so it is super convenient to go back to the accommodation when you are tired. There is also an exclusive parking lot, which makes self-driving parties ecstatic🚗 The room is warmly decorated, the bedding is clean and soft, and the large windows face the natural scenery. In the morning, I was awakened by the sun and birdsong, and I felt happy🌿 The bathroom is also clean and the facilities are easy to use. I especially praise the boss! He is as enthusiastic as a family member and thoughtfully planned a tour route for us. This service is amazing👍 I will stay here again next time I come, and it is a five-star recommendation~

The room was very clean, big, and the air conditioning was very powerful. The location was just opposite the Tulou Prince The proprietress personally took us to Tulou Prince and told us the story of his family, which was more vivid than the regular tour guide's explanation. You could hear the pride from her family. The proprietress took a lot of photos for us, and the scene was amazing. The boss was also very enthusiastic.

This stay was really a surprise! From the beginning of the get off the bus, I felt full of intimate, the front desk check-in was fast, the room type was very good, highly recommended. The room was spotless, the bedding was soft like a cloud, and I slept super heavy at night. The breakfast shop at the entrance of the hotel has many types to choose from, and the boiling water is really delicious! It is only three minutes away from the ancient city of Changting. To mark the end of our Fujian trip, we chose to spend a wonderful night inside a national key cultural relics protection unit with a 400-year history, immersing ourselves in the life of the Hakka indigenous people. The owner was incredibly hospitable, driving us directly to the entrance of the Tulou and vividly explaining the history of the ”King of Tulous.” Although the rooms were basic, they were clean, tidy, and fully equipped. There was a shower downstairs, and it wasn't hot at night. The only regret was that the red lanterns had already been extinguished when we returned from dinner, so we missed the most beautiful night view.

What an amazing experience! It was so cool to actually stay inside a Tulou. I was lucky that my room even had an en-suite bathroom! The owner was incredibly kind; they waited up for me despite my very late check-in. Since I specifically traveled all the way from Taiwan, the owner thoughtfully lit up the beautiful red lanterns for me, which looked absolutely stunning in photos! They also helped me take pictures and booked my bus ticket down the mountain. They truly go above and beyond to care for their guests! A huge thank you to the owner! I had such a wonderful time. If I get the chance, I'll definitely bring my family and friends to visit again!

My stay here exceeded all expectations. * **Facilities & Environment:** The Tulou building itself is incredibly grand and impressive, and remarkably well-preserved. The biggest surprise was how new the room's interior facilities were, complete with an independent bathroom that was clean and refreshing. It completely shattered my preconceived notions about old Tulou buildings being inconvenient to live in. * **Stunning Scenery:** The view from the window of the ancient village is absolutely beautiful, and the air is fresh. Waking up early to see the mist swirling around is incredibly therapeutic. * **Warm Service:** The owner is incredibly genuine and welcoming, greeting us like family. The hospitality was truly heartwarming. * **Authentic Cuisine:** I strongly recommend eating at the inn! The stir-fried preserved pork with fresh bamboo shoots and the taro dumplings (yuzi bao) were absolutely amazing. The bamboo shoots were crisp and tender, and the preserved pork was incredibly fragrant – truly authentic Hakka flavors.

The exit of the scenic spot was 600 meters from his house. We didn't let the car in the scenic spot until 4 pm. We parked the car in the parking lot next to the exit (free of charge). The proprietress drove to pick it up in time and was very enthusiastic. The boss introduced us to the tour route. Some villagers were drinking tea and chatting with the boss, and the boss's family was very good. At around 5 o'clock, we drove the car to the downstairs of the villa, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The proprietress burned a hand, caught chicken on the mountain, fresh vegetables picked in the field, and the kitchen was clean. After dinner, go to Zhencheng Building to watch a light show and a movie on the floor. If you walk about 2 kilometers from the entrance of the scenic spot to Zhencheng Building, you don't have to take the scenic car and pay the parking fee to live in this house, which saves money and effort. It is a very recommended homestay.
