AAnonymous UserThe hotel is facing Guanzhang Mountain and has an excellent location. You can enjoy the panoramic view of Guanzhang Mountain directly from the balcony of the room and the platform on the second floor of the hotel. The duplex suite we booked is perfect for family outings. The first floor is a living room with enough space for tea viewing, and the second floor is two bedrooms with separate bathrooms and toilets, which are large and spacious. Hotel service is very good, patient and kind, check-in and check-out speed are very fast. The trip also had two breakfasts and two dinners in the hotel restaurant. The breakfast had a variety of local specialties, which was quite hearty. The dinner was good and cheap, and the seasonal vegetables were quite delicious.

LLulukanshijie❄️hayaxue❄️I hitched a ride from Yunshuiyao Scenic Area and found it much quieter. I originally planned to stay one day, but because of the beautiful scenery, I stayed an extra day 🤭. I went to the Tulou King first, and then to the Tulou Prince Scenic Area. The guesthouse was cozy and clean, and the owners were very welcoming. Superb! I came alone this time, but I will definitely bring my family next time. Since I hadn't finished exploring the scenic area, the owner thoughtfully carried my luggage to the security booth at the exit. Then I explored at my own pace. There are buses to Longyan and Yongding just 50 meters across from the scenic area entrance. The owner even checked the times in advance so I wouldn't miss my bus. Nice, warm, and clean. I hope the owner's business prospers! Here are some bonus tips for independent travelers: 1. Yunshuiyao felt more crowded and had a stronger commercial atmosphere. I first visited Yongding Tulou King, located a bit higher up on the mountainside, because there weren't many other buildings around. So I went to the Prince Tulou Scenic Area, which is a bit lower down and felt quieter; I personally preferred it there. 2. There are individual electric carts for rent and sightseeing buses for purchase within the scenic area, which are convenient for leisurely exploration. 3. There's a morning market stalls within the scenic area; early risers should check it out. I highly recommend the passion fruit stall across the river from Yangji Winery. Auntie's fruit, small ones weighing 3 jin and large ones 5 jin, is super delicious! I hope she becomes popular and her business improves, but I also hope she doesn't raise prices after she becomes famous 🤭 4. The food and grocery stores in the village and scenic area close relatively early. For a night owl like me, it feels like there are hardly any shops open after 10 PM, and I can't buy anything. So everyone should definitely prepare some snacks in advance, just in case haha 5. The scenery here is amazing, and the guesthouse is very clean. Pictures are attached. I hope this helps those who need it. It seems that after September, there will be round-trip buses from Meizhou, Guangdong to Yongding from Yongding Bus Station. It would be more convenient if friends from Guangdong came to visit, hehe 😁 Lastly, I wish the owner great success in business, and I'll come again next time 👋

I would especially like to thank 小邱 for being very friendly and helpful, particularly in guiding me through the procedure to collect my parcels. The breakfast was also excellent, with plenty of delicious options to choose from. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely stay here again.

SShanshan·The wisest decision I made on this trip to Changting was choosing the Song Ci Hangzhan Hotel! As a four-star hotel, it perfectly blends historical charm, a superb location, and modern comfort, making for a fantastic stay. A hotel in the heart of the ancient city! The windows offer views of the Tingjiang River, and it's super convenient to walk to Jichuan Gate and Shuidong Street. The modern Chinese-style rooms are clean and smartly equipped, the bedding is so comfortable I didn't want to get out of bed, and the front desk even provided helpful travel tips. Parking is reimbursed for those driving, making it incredibly cost-effective. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Changting!

GGuest UserService: The landlady is very nice and will patiently answer any questions you may have. Check-in is hassle-free, and the location is excellent, close to everything. Environment: The hotel is close to the scenic area and in the center of the ancient city. Everything is within a 10-minute walk, which is very convenient. Facilities: The guesthouse facilities are just average, but the owner arranges parking—unlimited parking is a pleasant surprise, especially considering the congested city area!

YYouyayoumomoyuThe entire square Tulou building, Chaoyang Tower, has been transformed into a guesthouse. It retains many of its mottled walls, giving it a strong sense of history and rustic charm. The wooden stairs, hallway floorboards, and wooden doors all creak, which the kids found quite fun. It's truly pleasant to quietly listen to the birds, admire the distant mountains, and sip tea here. We visited during Chinese New Year, and generally felt the festive cheer was a bit lacking. For example, the front desk didn't have any New Year's candies or similar treats (which, of course, isn't a requirement). The spring couplets by the entrance had also fallen off, and the ground floor was mostly deserted, feeling very quiet and lonely. Breakfast was served at a different guesthouse, 'Duli', and it was absolutely delicious! The room design had some inconveniences. The countertop next to the sink was quite low, making it uncomfortable to stoop down for makeup or other activities. Hanging space for clothes was limited, and the hanging rod felt a bit shaky, so we were hesitant to put too many items on it. In the duplex room, it got quite cold at night. While the upper level had air conditioning, the lower level did not, with only a heater in the bathroom. The shower water pressure was extremely low, and the storage water heater couldn't sustain hot water for long, leading to a very poor overall showering experience. I'd recommend visiting on a weekday, as the prices are better value. It's acceptable for a short stay, but for a longer trip, I wouldn't advise it for anyone who enjoys taking proper showers.

Come with room slippers and other standard toiletries. Breakfast is basic . BYO coffee or tea. Not supplied at breakfast . Best part is the complimentary tour guide . Ms Lee is amazing , very knowledgeable. Recommend staying one night at least..We missed the evening show due to bad weather. The tulong and river night scene is pretty spectacular. And the morning is the best time to discover the town before tourists arrive.

I expected and the Hakka dishes in the restaurant next door were also delicious. The front desk sister Jiang is also very hospitable and talkative. In fact, this time from Malaysia to Yongding is to find roots. After talking to her, she was very happy to introduce me to the tour guide.
