The landlords ( husband & wife) are very friendly, helpful, nice & accommodating. The wife Ms Shujie Guo waited for us patiently to arrive at the air bnb before returning to their own home which is a short distance away. (NB: we did not get the message or e-mail for the main door number access code & she know that it has happened before. So she took the initiative to wait for us which we arrived at night at about 9 pm on that day). This air bnb house provided full cooking facilities including the ingredients & spices. The common area are very clean & tidy. The bedroom & bathroom are equally clean & tidy. There is a garden at the back of the house which is beautifully layout. The landlord lady Ms Jhujie Guo even went to the extent to alert my wife that there were northern lights & informed us to go to the open space to see. With our iPhone 14 pro max handphone, we managed to see the beautiful northern lights ( aurora). Unfortunately we were unable to capture the dancing lights as we do not have the camera stand. This is a bonus as we did not expect to see Northern lights in Calgary! We felt like we were living at our own home. We would highly recommend those who are looking for accommodation in Calgary to stay at Brothers Li Homestay.

I am a customer living in 407 on 9th of November in Holiday Inn Express & Suites Calgary NW - University Area, an IHG Hotel. . I am writing to complain  the lady on the front desk. She treated me not respectful. When we checked in, I am asking if we have hot spring, she replied several what? And correct me “hot tub” such as I am lack of knowledge. Later, I want to use Landry room and change dollars with them. They gave me several two dollars, and the washing machines only accept 1 dollars, which they should have known at first place. So I went back to the front desk to ask for 1 dollars again. And at that time. There is one guy lining in front of another front desk server. And the lady was answering the phone.  So I naturally stood in front of her desk and waited for her. And I asked her to change 1 dollars for me since they didn’t know. And then she asked me” don’t u notice there is a line? You should wait after it.” So I was so embarrassed to find out I cut in line. So if she is really mindful about me cutting in line, Why not telling me to wait after? Or just remind me in a more respectful way assuming I really don’t know there is a line? Either way will have same effect and I would be acknowledged in a not embarrassing way. And again, the washing machine only accept 1 dollar and they did not know, is their job dereliction. I am very concerned how your service match up with your high level of fees.

Our family has stayed here over 5 times in the last 3 years and it’s always reasonably priced and a fantastic stay. Big and clean rooms with a 24/7 shuttle to YYC which is always easy to book there and back. Great free breakfast too with GF options. It’s my YYC ‘go to’ hotel!

The reception staff were incredibly friendly, providing thoughtful little services and even engaging in small talk. The breakfast area, which also doubles as a lounge for guests, was spotless, and the breakfast menu, though simple, covered all the essentials, which I appreciated. In the lounge, coffee is free and unlimited, so you can make it to your liking with syrups and other additions. The hotel's location isn't too far from downtown, making it convenient to walk. It's also not too far from the airport, taking about 30 minutes by taxi.

The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient amenities nearby, making for a fantastic stay. The rooms are not only spacious and well-lit but also feature very new decor and well-maintained facilities. The integrated kitchen design, in particular, is fully equipped and very clean, which is a thoughtful touch for guests who need to cook. Whether it's for a short trip or a long-term stay, this is an ideal place that offers both comfort and practicality.

The hygiene is acceptable, and it's generally convenient for outings. The breakfast selection isn't extensive, but it's nutritionally balanced and quite good. It's very close to the largest mall, making transportation convenient.

The hotel is about 8 kilometers away from the airport. There is no bus, but it is more convenient to pick up and drop off at the airport hotel for free. There are no commercial facilities around, shopping and eating are inconvenient. The rooms are oversized, well-equipped and novel, clean and comfortable. But some facilities are not reasonable, such as Batai is too small, the bathroom is hanging horizontally. The breakfast was rich and delicious. The price is a bit high.

I booked this hotel for my trip to Banff! It took a little under 2.5 hours to drive to Lake Louise, leaving at 5 AM. Since I rented a car, I was very satisfied with the accommodation. However, I don't think it would feel close to the airport without a rental car. It was great that I could walk to McDonald's and Tim Hortons, and there was also a swimming pool!

I was a bit nervous after reading some other reviews, but I need not have been. My room was spacious, the bed comfy and the pillows plentiful. My 11 year old grandson, who visited during my stay, gives the pool and waterside a huge thumbs up. His mother, sister and I enjoyed the hot tub while he splashed alone.  Breakfast was a bounty! Although I am limited by multiple food allergies, I found more than enough to eat and enjoyed my 2 breakfasts.  When I first arrived in my assigned room, I discovered a tool on the floor and a dismantled A/C unit. Before I had time to wonder, a repairman was at the door, apologetic that I had arrived before he could complete his maintenance. He immediately arranged for me to switch to a different room, and all was well.  Desk staff were all cordial, helpful, friendly. I have absolutely no complaints about my stay and highly recommend others to ignore naysayers and give it a try. I would be happy for a return visit if opportunity arises. After checking in, I opened the door and found that I gave a room that was not cleaned at all. The room was messy. The first time I encountered this situation, the hotel front desk paid for the breakfast coupon, but we didn't eat it. We stayed for one night and checked out.
