"We had a wonderful stay at the Sheraton Cavalier Calgary Airport. The hotel is conveniently close to the airport, which made our travel day much easier, though it’s worth noting there’s no shuttle service. Still, the quick commute was no problem for us. We appreciated that the hotel offers a storage unit, which was super helpful and made managing our luggage so much easier. Our room was newly renovated, clean, modern, and very comfortable — definitely a highlight of our stay. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again!"

Best Western Plus Port OCall Hotel
"Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend I had a poor experience during my stay at Best Western in Calgary. Upon check-in, the front desk staff appeared visibly tired and disinterested. She was unhelpful when I asked questions and seemed more focused on rushing through the process than assisting guests. Prior to arrival, I received an email from the hotel stating that I could redeem a gift card at check-in. However, the front desk refused to apply it, claiming it was only valid for bookings made through their website—despite no such condition being mentioned in the email. Additionally, I had placed a “Do Not Disturb” sign on my door, yet housekeeping entered the room and cleaned it anyway, which was an unwelcome surprise and a violation of privacy. The bathroom amenities were also disappointing. The shampoo and other toiletries were provided in very small tubes that were difficult to use. I requested a late check-out, just one extra hour, and was surprised to be asked to pay an additional $50. A bit more flexibility in such situations would leave a better impression. Overall, I do not recommend this hotel. The service, communication, and attention to guest comfort were well below expectations."

"Overall good experience, very convenient location and close to Airport, I am not sure about Hotel breakfast policy but they should consider keeping Egg Cheese Omelet separate from other meats i.e. Pork etc. Since some people have dietary need like myself and my family so we have no other options then to visit Tim Hortons or other place for breakfast although we have paid for the breakfast. I asked the same question with the reception guy but they were unaware so we have to wait until breakfast time for answers which is NO."
