"The staff were always smiling, friendly, and incredibly kind throughout my stay. The restaurant attached to the hotel was excellent and made dining very convenient and enjoyable. The only minor issue was that the drain in the bathroom didn't flow very well. Aside from that, everything else was wonderful. I enjoyed a nice view of downtown from my room, and the location was perfect, with convenient Uber access to many places. Overall, I had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay."

"A great value-for-money option! The apartment is fully equipped with laundry facilities (washer and dryer), and a kitchen if you want to cook your own meals (there's a Walmart nearby for groceries). The adjacent park is nice for a stroll. While the room doesn't have air conditioning, there's a circulating fan that keeps it from getting stuffy. The bathroom also provides a good selection of toiletries and is clean. The best part is the landlord's quick responses! They can speak Chinese, and their helpful attitude left a wonderful impression. This is definitely a place worth staying again if we come back to Calgary. Highly recommend! 👍"

"The hotel is situated conveniently at walking distance from Stephen Avenue. There’s a lay-by at the entrance of the hotel where you can stop by briefly to get check-in and get access to the underground parking with addition parking fee. Overall, the stay was very comfortable and we are friendly treated with helpful staff. The room interior is modern and clean. The room amenities were well prepared, with great sound proof in the room."

"There were only three front desk staff members to handle all guests, and this was the first time I've ever experienced calling the front desk over ten times with no one answering. If they are understaffed, the management team should focus more on team building rather than providing such a terrible experience for guests. Besides the abysmal service, here are a few other points to consider: 1. Rooms face two directions. If you're unlucky enough to get a room facing the machinery and the tarmac, falling asleep will be impossible. There's absolutely no soundproofing; it was the worst experience. Even rooms facing the other direction have noticeable airplane takeoff and landing noise, so this hotel is not a suitable option for light sleepers or guests looking for a good rest. 2. You need to request all amenities like the kettle and disposable toiletries from the front desk in advance. 3. Wi-Fi costs extra for non-Marriott Bonvoy members. 4. Room service incurs an additional delivery fee on top of the service charge. 5. The overall customer service team has significant room for improvement in their communication skills and methods with guests. This was my worst Marriott hotel experience ever."

The room was spacious and cozy, the bed was super comfortable, and the breakfast service was excellent. Also loved the little details and the old historic atmosphere of the hotel."
