The location was good for sightseeing and not far from the train station (it’s just 10-15 min. by walk). If you want to reach the hotel as soon as possible, you can catch the bus for Hirzenhof. From the stop, you just need to walk for 3 min.. Staffs were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good enough to choose items, especially breads were tasty.

The room is really hard to describe. I booked three 20 square meter standard twin rooms, but I didn't expect that the room 44 was a loft. The room type is irregular, but the area is still quite large, barely acceptable. Room 12 and Room 32 are only 15 square meters at most. And at first they were double bed rooms, and the two beds were separated after coordination. I suggest you don't book this hotel, the price-performance ratio is too low. Fortunately, I contacted Ctrip, and Ctrip's service is very good. I will book hotels on Ctrip in the future. In addition, the elevator is pitifully small, and it is very crowded for two people and two boxes. There is no air conditioning in the room, only a low-end electric fan.

Hotel location is very good, we walked to Lucerne two hours in the morning, the balcony window is the spire of the church. Small, like a family hotel, the key is left in the envelope on the front desk, no staff provides other counselling services. The room did not have air conditioning, and I woke up in the middle of the night and found that there was a desktop fan. Overall, the price is not high, did not sleep well

It's okay to stay overnight within 10 minutes walk from Lucerne Station. It's close. Good to carry a suitcase. It is a good place to leave your luggage before check-in. And on the first floor, we had a restaurant, and they gave us a restaurant coupon, and they didn't use it. There was no electric pot in the room. I think there was a coffee machine. When you go out, it's good to go to the Capel Bridge right in front of you. There is Starbucks next to it.

The location next to old town. The famous bake cheese pie is just in front of hotel. Receptionist was kind. If you arrived before checked in and storage the luggage with them. They will put luggage in your room after you checked in the luggage already in your room. Definitely come back and stay again.

Excellent location, just 50 metres from the Kapellbrucke (Chapel Bridge) and about 8 minutes walk from the train station, bus interchange and lake ferries. The room was a bit small even for a solo traveller and would have preferred a kettle in the room rather than a coffee machine. Had to use the electrical socket in the bathroom to charge the phone as sockets in the room were not accessible. The continental breakfast was fine. Overall I felt it was a bit overpriced for the facilities provided although it is in an excellent location for visiting Lucerne.

The hotel's location is extremely convenient. It's a small hotel with a rich history. The rooms are fairly large, with four-person rooms suitable for families. Although not very modern, they are clean enough. I spent two nights in Lucerne and was very satisfied.

Really was pleasantly surprised by how good this hotel was. Comfortable clean rooms, clean towels, comfortable beds and duvets, super friendly front desk, and really great location. A special mention of the quality breakfast spread which I look forward every morning. Strongly recommended.

Hotel goldener stern has a very nice outlook. Very cool vibes when i first stepped in. Check in was self service and easy. The lift is small so its only good for one person with luggage or two persons without luggage. The room is clean just rather small. Toilet is clean too. About 10 mins walk to luzerne station. There is also a bus that you can take from luzerne station to the accom. just need to walk 2-3 mins from bus stop. Overall, not a bad accom!

The front desk is only available from morning till 11pm, so be sure you have to complete your check in beforehand. Ps. the check in/out counter is at a different location (around 2 mins walk from magic hotel).
