The owner was incredibly welcoming and even provided pick-up and drop-off services. The guesthouse itself was charmingly rustic and spotless, with a wonderfully elegant atmosphere. But the absolute best part was the location – right outside the door was Yuenu Pond, making it super easy to find. We had a very comfortable stay. For our return trip, they even helped us arrange a shared ride. It made for a truly enjoyable trip to Hongcun!

Although situated within Hongcun, it offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle; at night, the only sounds are the chirping of frogs and insects. The rooms are spacious, bright, spotless, and equipped with modern amenities for comfort and convenience. The housekeepers are also incredibly attentive and helpful, assisting with luggage at the entrance, taking photos, and readily fulfilling any requests. This guesthouse truly represents a perfect blend of historical culture and modern comfort, exceeding expectations. Highly recommended! By the way, their osmanthus black tea is also delicious! 👍

It's really hard not to love living spaces like this, especially the tatami standard room we booked. It perfectly aligns with the aesthetics and needs of today's young people. Once you're in, you just don't want to leave – it's so comfortable it's intoxicating! There's no complicated or superfluous design; the entire tatami room is warm and healing. Whether you're snuggling on the soft cushions or lying flat, it's incredibly relaxing. For us young people, the happiest thing in our free time is comfortably lying on the tatami playing with our phones. No need to adjust to the sofa's angle, no need to worry about posture – just be as lazy as you like. Your whole body is in its most relaxed state, and a day's fatigue instantly disappears. This kind of spontaneous joy is truly amazing! Not only is the living experience top-notch, but the smart features in the room truly impressed me. The voice-controlled design throughout is incredibly convenient, completely freeing your hands. No need to get up to turn lights on/off, open/close curtains, or adjust devices – a simple word does it all. It’s full of technology yet convenient, providing a truly futuristic living experience. The happiness brought by smart living is maximized. Even the fully smart toilet in the bathroom far exceeded expectations, with thoughtful functional design and a comfortable user experience. Standing on the top floor, the view immediately opens up. The infinity pool combined with the beautiful scenery outside the window makes every photo a masterpiece of ambiance. Whether it's day or evening, it offers a different kind of romance. And the rooftop terrace is a hidden gem for relaxation. Lie back in a rocking chair, gently swaying with your eyes closed. The service is really attentive ❤️. Before staying at the hotel, the housekeeper will come in advance and add WeChat to set up a WeChat service group, inform the location, and come to greet you. When delivering, he also gave you a souvenir handmade in the store. The children and elders all enjoyed their stay. We could see the starry sky in our room at night. The children were very surprised and kept asking if they could continue to stay here tomorrow? ! The room is consistent with the picture of the reservation. The special mountain spring water and welcome dinner in the store are very considerate. The breakfast is also 10 kinds of which are very balanced and rich. The welcome dog Wangzai is very cute. He greets and sees off guests, and the overall impression is wonderful. Very good impression. I will stay here again next time I come to Hongcun.

This was my second stay. Hongcun is a great place to relax on weekends, and Zhang's Mansion is as cozy as ever. I told the manager in advance what I wanted to eat, and we ate right away. The food was all bought by the aunties at the manor that morning—fresh and delicious. The rooms are still in the same style, with a classic, antique charm. During the day, I strolled around the village, and in the evening, I went back to the manor to eat, drink, and sleep, relieving the fatigue of work.

The hosts are warm, friendly, and incredibly thoughtful, making for a cozy and pleasant stay. It's a great escape from the hustle and bustle, very relaxing, and conveniently located for exploring. It's an excellent choice for a leisurely getaway. The owner is super nice and good-looking too! The guesthouse environment rivals that of a five-star hotel – definitely the top choice in Hongcun! The courtyard is also very picturesque.

This location was perfect and right in the scenic area of hongcun. It’s a little difficult to find at first but once you find it it’s easy to come back to if you put it in the maps app. The town is so cute and we were welcomed with little Hand-made bookmarks which was so sweet and a wonderful surprise. The one thing that was off putting and probably a one off is it seemed that there was a large family staying in the Homestay and in the middle of the night there was screaming and doors slamming on and off throughout the night. I’m not sure if this is a regular thing or just happened to be a one night thing but it was a bit frightening. Other than that the location was very quiet when we got there and the owner was very helpful with any questions we had throughout our stay.

The service attitude is very good. The guy at the hotel front desk will call in advance to pick us up from the parking lot. He will take our luggage with us to the entrance of the ancient village on an electric bicycle. The room is on the first floor. It is very clean and spacious. There is a swing in the yard, which makes it feel very cozy. You also get snacks and free mineral water when you check in. The location is particularly good. After walking a few dozen meters, we arrived at the big banyan tree at the entrance of the village. It was a quiet place amidst the hustle and bustle. There were also some B&Bs around, but when I passed by, I felt that the yard of this one was the most beautiful.

This accommodation experience was superb. The hotel bedding was very comfortable, made of cotton and linen. The Xiaoai classmate in the room was very convenient. Christmas was coming soon, and the hotel entrance also had a large and beautiful Christmas tree. There were also special singing bowls for sleep therapy. The teacher was very professional and I fell asleep in a short while. It was very comfortable. I lamented that I didn’t get enough sleep because the time was too short. The teacher also answered my question while drinking tea. Falling asleep for the first time showed that the effect was great and my own energy was high.

Facilities: Our family stayed in three rooms, all with underfloor heating. However, when there were a lot of people, one room's heating was unstable. The housekeeper did his best to help resolve the issue late at night. Cleanliness: The house is a bit old, but the cleaning was good. The kitchen was also quite clean. Environment: Located in the Mukeng Bamboo Sea Scenic Area, the environment is excellent and the air is fresh. Service: The hostess was very welcoming and upgraded us to a family room. The room was excellent. The housekeeper was also very helpful. New drivers should be cautious when entering the hotel, as the roads are narrow enough for one car only.
