A charming hotel in the heart of Retimno. Every trip was in this city but never stopped in the center and didn 't regret choosing this location) Near a bunch of cafes for morning unspeed coffee, rolling streets (do not shy to fold in the alleys - there is a lot of beauty and almost no tourists) , in 7 minutes walking a paid parking, almost a day I paid about 15 euros. The room is chic - the environment, convenience, there are coats and slippers, excellent bed. I chose by the picture and everything turned out exactly as in the photo) The room on the first floor has a door in the alley, from it a little noisy evening, but I was so crawling for a day that without problems I fell asleep, although I sleep without a beer. From the morning wake the bell on the next church, it was probably the only inconvenience - but I suspect that so in any hotel in the center of Retimno will))

I rested with my sister, we really liked everything, I recommend it, the hotel is beautiful, the staff is very friendly and nice, the breakfasts were wonderful, I also recommend a massage, you will not regret it if you choose this hotel « Melrose Rethymno by Mage Hotels”

Small apartment in the heart of the city. Very well located, super clean, and very convenient. Loved also the warmth of the host ! Would stay there again

This hotel was amazing. One of my top 3 favorites in Crete. I highly recommend staying here. I only wish I stayed two nights here. Definitely worth it. Breakfast read included and an amazing selection. They even gave me a little gift when checking out. I would remove this to anyone coming to Crete.

We stayed at May Hotel for two nights before flying back to Germany, and overall we had a pleasant stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we really appreciated being allowed to check in early. We booked the half-board option, and both the breakfast and dinner were good. Breakfast offered a nice variety of choices, and dinner was tasty with enough selection. The room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep. The hotel also has a gym with enough equipment for a basic workout, which was a nice bonus during our stay. The hotel itself is comfortable, although the rooms and facilities feel a bit outdated and could benefit from some renovation. The location is also not the most convenient, as there is no direct beach access—you’ll need to walk a few minutes to reach the beach. Overall, it’s a good value for money with excellent service, comfortable rooms, decent food, and useful amenities. With some modernization and a more convenient beach location, it would easily be an even better stay.

A great hotel in a perfect location. The owner was very helpful and showed us places to visit. The room was beautiful and traditional. The breakfast was varied and very nice. Would definitely recommend

Alle Mitarbeiter da sind sehr nett und freundlich. Das Zimmer ist sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber. Man kann viel im Hotel machen, Spa, Billiards, Kartenspiele, schwimmen usw. Es gibt sogar zwei Schwimmbäder. Das Essen war auch top. Man hat viele Auswahl beim Buffet. Und das Menu beim Abendessenbuffet ändert sich auch immer. Die Lage des Hotels ist auch mega gut. 2 Min zum Strand. Gleich neben dran gibt es Bushaltestellen und Mini-Supermarkt.

The standard rooms are very cramped which I would not book again. We asked for a bigger room and we got it without any problems. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. Even if you want to park in the street. Please note otherwise it is paid parking on a site further on. Old town is within walking distance 2 min. Walking to the beach is 8-10 min. Enough bars and eateries in the street. Location and staff are really a 10. Didn't go swimming because it was too cold but pool is smaller than it looks in the photos. Hotel is very nicely decorated it can be seen that it has just been renovated.

The Hotel is located at a 25 min walking distance from the old town. There is no on site parking. The nearest free parking is 10 to 12 mins by walk. The family room is not appropriately designed. The main bed is in a loft with no ventilation or air conditioner. The toilet is very small. The breakfast at the restaurant is very sparse. Expected much better. This is not a value for money hotel.
