Beach Hotels in Rethymno

Excellent location, Staff very helpful and kind, rooms very spacious and clean, has all amenities. Will definitely revisit if in Rethymno again well worth the the money

Location was great, walking distance to beach, town, restaurants, bars and shops. Beautiful clean and spacious room with excellent hosts.

The hotel is very new, with good facilities, and meets the five-star standard. The location is also very good, right by the sea, opposite the beach is nice, there are two swimming pools in the hotel, the children had a lot of fun playing in the water. The hotel I booked included two meals, the taste was great, very satisfied. The fee for one more child is 48 euros. It is reasonable according to its facilities, I hope to have the opportunity to go there again next time.

Good environment, live in the loft suite, the balcony can see the sea, next to Leximnon, a hillside, parking at the door is free 😅 In fact, Crete is very large, so tourists on Crete will not affect the life of the locals. Driving to various beaches. A few euros can have sun umbrellas and lounge chairs. There is also free one on the last day. I just found one at will. I just lie on the beach and blow the sea breeze. It’s very comfortable to see the sea.  Blue Lagoon is beautiful, but it is a test of car technology, car conditions and physical fitness! The meat of Crete is the best and the unique traditional roasting method - racked above the oven, round the stove, incense!

We stayed at May Hotel for two nights before flying back to Germany, and overall we had a pleasant stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and we really appreciated being allowed to check in early. We booked the half-board option, and both the breakfast and dinner were good. Breakfast offered a nice variety of choices, and dinner was tasty with enough selection. The room was clean, and the beds were very comfortable, which made for a good night’s sleep. The hotel also has a gym with enough equipment for a basic workout, which was a nice bonus during our stay. The hotel itself is comfortable, although the rooms and facilities feel a bit outdated and could benefit from some renovation. The location is also not the most convenient, as there is no direct beach access—you’ll need to walk a few minutes to reach the beach. Overall, it’s a good value for money with excellent service, comfortable rooms, decent food, and useful amenities. With some modernization and a more convenient beach location, it would easily be an even better stay.

Le personnel est accueillant et disponible. L’électricité dans la chambre a une certaine instabilité. Le personnel est très réactif. Le petit déjeuner est très correct. L’hôtel est agréable. Le parking est très proche et pratique. La chambre est correcte quand bien même quelques finitions seraient appréciables. L’emplacement est proche de tavernes (éviter taverna Yanis…, piège à touristes), des boutiques de souvenirs. Le quartier, pourtant excentré, est une cité balnéaire. Difficile, à Rethymnon semble-t-il (outre le centre historique) de se trouver ailleurs que dans une cité balnéaire qui n’a pas réellement de charme et d’habitants.

Alle Mitarbeiter da sind sehr nett und freundlich. Das Zimmer ist sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber. Man kann viel im Hotel machen, Spa, Billiards, Kartenspiele, schwimmen usw. Es gibt sogar zwei Schwimmbäder. Das Essen war auch top. Man hat viele Auswahl beim Buffet. Und das Menu beim Abendessenbuffet ändert sich auch immer. Die Lage des Hotels ist auch mega gut. 2 Min zum Strand. Gleich neben dran gibt es Bushaltestellen und Mini-Supermarkt.

The Hotel is located at a 25 min walking distance from the old town. There is no on site parking. The nearest free parking is 10 to 12 mins by walk. The family room is not appropriately designed. The main bed is in a loft with no ventilation or air conditioner. The toilet is very small. The breakfast at the restaurant is very sparse. Expected much better. This is not a value for money hotel.

Great place to stay. Even had a small kitchen in the room. Acces to 3 swimingpools and right next to the beach. Friendly staff and rarely heard any noise from outside. Bars, supermarkets, restaurants and ofcourse the beach right outside the hotel. Will come again.
