The location is fantastic! It's super close to the reindeer meeting point, the Northern Lights meeting point, and the bus stop. We were traveling with a toddler and stayed in a business room, which was very spacious with two 1.6m beds and still plenty of room. My only slight disappointment was that the pictures showed scenic views, but we were given a room on the 4th floor with a view of a rooftop and only the tip of a church steeple, which didn't match the advertised images. However, I have to praise the breakfast – it was absolutely delicious! Even eating the same things for three days didn't get boring. This is one of the few hotels in Europe with such an excellent breakfast!

The hotel is quite close to the ferry terminal, and there's a bus stop right across the street, making it very convenient for getting to tourist attractions. Pedestrian-friendly areas, like a walking street, are within easy reach, and there are restaurants and a supermarket nearby. The room itself was a bit small, but the cleanliness was acceptable. In the lobby, they offer water and coffee, but the cups provided were quite dirty, so I'd recommend using your own mug.

I almost didn't go after seeing the pictures, thinking it was just an ordinary guesthouse. But when I arrived, I found it's a large hotel, and truly excellent. **Facilities:** The facilities are very modern, and the heating in the room is exceptionally good, just like the standards of a Nordic city hotel. The design is also quite simple. **Environment:** The view from the hotel lobby and breakfast restaurant through the glass is absolutely stunning. Plus, there's free coffee and tea in the lobby, so you can sit and enjoy the beautiful scenery. **Breakfast:** The breakfast is also quite good. This is the only hotel on the entire island; everything else seems to be guesthouses. It also has a large parking lot. The photos online made it look very average, but in reality, it's completely different and exceeded my expectations. However, the island itself isn't too big, and the scenery on the way back to Tromsø from here is particularly beautiful.

An unpretentious but comfortable hotel in an unbeatable location in central Tromso (the third photo is the view from the hotel window). Highlights include the friendly staff (a shout out here to the ever helpful Petter), tasty and healthy breakfast, and comfortable sitting areas that mean you don't have to hang out in your room. Given the quality of the hotel it is surprising - and highly annoying - that they don't provide kettles in the room (I even offered to pay a deposit), the more frustrating because some photos on the site show coffee machines: so some rooms do have these facilities. The selection of toiletries is also surprisingly meagre - no shower gel for example, which seems unnecessarily cheapskate. My other gripe is that they need more individual tables in the breakfast room: finding a space at a long table feels reminiscent of youth hostelling... With these shortcomings noted, the hotel can be recommended and is good value for Tromso.

This hotel is great. The restaurant on the first floor offers 24-hour hot water, tea, and coffee. There's an elevator and free luggage storage. Our ferry was at 1 AM, and it's only a five or six-minute walk from the hotel to the pier. We were able to relax in the restaurant and have tea, which was a very thoughtful service from the hotel, and we really appreciate it. The airport shuttle stop is also conveniently close, about 200 meters away. The breakfast had a good variety of food, including salmon (though without soy sauce and wasabi, only olive oil...). However, the salmon seemed to be limited; once a plate was gone from the buffet, it wasn't refilled... I wonder if asking the kitchen would have gotten more!! 🤭🤭

El hotel está bastante alejado del centro de Tromsø. La parada de autobús para ir al aeropuerto está a 10 min. Parece poco pero si está nevando y llevas mucho equipaje hay que ir con tiempo porque las cuestas tienen hielo. Cuando entras, es una maravilla. Han renovado las zonas comunes y es súper bonito. Pero al entrar en nuestra habitación doble.... No estaba renovada. Es la habitación más pequeña en la que hemos estado en 8 días por la zona. La puerta no está en buenas condiciones. El baño parece de ”un hospital”. Para nuestro gusto la cama y las almohadas son incómodas. Las paredes de la habitación tampoco están en buen estado. Cuando fuimos a desayunar parecía otro hotel. La cafetería con vistas panorámica era preciosa. Y el desayuno tipo buffet estaba muy rico. Nos choca bastante la inmensa diferencia que hay entre las zonas comunes y la habitación.

It is well-equipped with basic essentials for simple cooking, which is a big plus for travellers who prefer to prepare their own meals. There is also a supermarket located just next to the hotel, and a bus stop only a stone’s throw away, making daily travel very hassle-free. However, the room size is quite small. Once we opened up our luggage, there was barely any space left to walk around comfortably. This may be something to consider for guests travelling with larger suitcases or planning a longer stay. Overall, the stay was practical and convenient mainly due to the excellent location and useful facilities, but the limited room space did affect our comfort.
