For the high prices in Tromsø, it's a hassle-free and comfortable option, definitely worth recommending."

"If it’s your first time traveling to Tromso and you wouldn’t know if you’d get another chance coming back, then I’d definitely recommend you to stay here. A must. Superb service, accessible bar anytime, perfect location and the view by the water and mountain, what else do you want? Tromso is walkable and this hotel is right at the heart of the city. "Make sure to book this hotel in advance! I booked it for 1500 (presumably NOK) in November, and by February, the price had jumped to 2300. The room is indeed small, but considering its location and the cost of living in Northern Europe, I think it's excellent value for money – much better than Paris. The hotel is right in the city center, very close to McDonald's, and there's a large supermarket nearby. The #40 bus stop, just 200 meters away, takes you directly to the airport (30 NOK, you can tap and pay on board). Most importantly, absolutely add the breakfast – it might just be the best quality meal you'll have in Tromsø."

"Tromsø is small; you can walk to almost anywhere from the hotel. However, the roads become icy in winter, making them difficult to navigate. The hotel reception is exceptionally helpful, offering complimentary cookies and tea."

"Hygienic level is normal The hotel location is pretty good There will be a bus to the airport within a 4-minute walk It takes 6 minutes to walk to the world's northernmost McDonald's. (28/10/2024) Service is also very good Front desk staff smiling Free Waffle making materials were provided on the day we stayed. It's a pity that we were almost out of batter when we got back. The facilities are also normal The only thing that can be improved is the smell of the hotel room There will be a (moist?) smell"

"It's incredibly hard to find a hotel of this quality at the same price point abroad! Facilities: The room is more than spacious enough at 65㎡. Cleanliness: The hotel is very clean and tidy, with no strange odors. Environment: Absolutely beautiful. If you're lucky, you can even see the Northern Lights directly from your room. Service: Warm, hospitable, and very polite."

"After visiting the Lofoten Islands, Tromsø felt more like an optional stop than a must-see. Location: The hotel's location is good, close to the pier. Room: The hotel corridors and rooms looked quite dated, not at all like a five-star hotel. The view outside the window was nice, especially the outdoor scenery from the large windows in the hallway was beautiful. Service: Luggage storage after check-out at this hotel is self-service. They don't provide a storage receipt. The room was piled high with luggage, and the door was left open, so it really depended on how trusting the guests were. Taking the cable car in Tromsø to see the city view from the mountain was great, but everything else was just average. As for the Northern Lights, you can see them in both Tromsø and the Lofoten Islands during winter."

"Overall, it was quite good. The heating was excellent, the bed was comfortable, and there were even kitchen utensils for cooking. However, it didn't quite reach four-star standards; it felt more like an apartment. The bathroom was a bit basic, and the room lighting was a little lacking. Overall, it was still very cozy, the receptionist was very welcoming, and luggage storage was free. Gingerbread was also available at the front desk."

"Basic hotel but you have the essentials. It is clean very close to the main street where all the shops are located. The breakfast buffet is very simple but you have a little bit of everything. You always have tea or coffee available in the hall if you feel like it. They also have a parking service in the back, it is fair but it gives you the service, I used it and although it was an ice rink at least you know that your car is ok since parking on the street is mission impossible and everything is pay."

"The atmosphere was lively and very festive. The staff were incredibly polite and attentive and the stay felt very luxurious. The room was also clean and spacious, although the positioning of the hanging lamps was a bit awkward and I sometimes found my shoulder hitting one when getting into and out of bed. The shower was also very large and decent water pressure and temperature control. The breakfast was amazing! Many options and very delicious! The view from the room was spectacular and the staff accommodated my request for a higher room. The only downsides were the laundry service is incredibly expensive, which was shocking as the hotel I had started in prior to this one did it for free. Also, room cleaning did not come to room one day and I had to make two requests to the front desk to get a fresh towel. It took quite a long time, but eventually did get me a new towel in the evening. The staff apologized profusely for the inconvenience. Overall, the stay was amazing. とてもにぎやかで、お祭りのような雰囲気でした。スタッフの対応は非常に丁寧で行き届いており、滞在全体がとてもラグジュアリーに感じられました。客室も清潔で広々としていましたが、吊り下げ式の照明の位置が少し微妙で、ベッドに出入りする際に肩が当たってしまうことが何度かありました。 シャワーもとても広く、水圧や温度調整もしっかりしていて快適でした。 朝食は素晴らしかったです。種類が豊富で、どれもとても美味しかったです。 客室からの眺めも圧巻で、高層階の部屋を希望したところ、その要望にも快く対応していただけました。 唯一のマイナス点は、ランドリーサービスが非常に高額だったことです。直前に宿泊していたホテルでは無料だったため、正直かなり驚きました。また、ある日は客室清掃が入らず、新しいタオルをもらうためにフロントに2回お願いする必要がありました。少し時間はかかりましたが、最終的には夕方に新しいタオルを届けてもらえました。その際、スタッフの方からは大変丁寧にお詫びがありました。 総合的には、とても素晴らしい滞在でした。"
