2024/04/05-08 Park Plaza Hotel in Nankunshan in Guangdong The hotel's meals are truly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in China! They have put so much effort into my food, who cannot eat everything. The weekend there was really pleasant even though it was raining badly all the time. After I talked to the hotel and a manager for about 2 hours that evening when I arrived, to find out if they would be able to give me something to eat, because I'm allergic to several things, I really did not expect much. They said they would bring it to my room... What a pleasant surprise the next morning and the 2 other mornings !!! The most beautiful and most delicious food you can imagine!! Wow and they are far from cities, thus they prepared it with what they had!! 😊🌸🌻👍🏻 The staff were also so polite and friendly!! Unfortunately there was no map of the resort and also not clear signs. I couldn't understand the cryptic directions to the hotsprings the reception gave...😱 Thus I had to wait till the lights came on, then I could see where the lights at the pools were .. Perhaps they can put a ”roof” or cover over some pools, then it will be more enjoyable when raining... Because if the rain, the roof swimming pool was closed, but beautiful view from there. There are so many beautiful nature places nearby to explore and fir hiking, but unfortunately the weather was not good as the rain was pouring! Perhaps the hotel can buy the ugly murals or ruins or half-built buildings that damage and interrupt the beautiful views of trees... It is really a sore eye in the beautiful view... then they can renovate and finish the buildings... I really hope one day I can go again!! But everywhere I have been telling people of this great hotel and will keep on doing it!! 👍🏻🌻😊

Going to Nankun Mountain in Huizhou during the Chinese New Year holiday was definitely the right choice. It wasn't too crowded, and almost all the restaurants nearby were open and ready for business! The facilities along the entire 218 loop were really impressive. We chose the Weichi brand this time, purely because we were drawn in by what we saw! The room environment was great, and the decor was lovely too! The staff were incredibly responsive to every request, and they even allowed fireworks, making our three-day, two-night stay so comfortable. A big thank you to all the staff at Shanshan Sishi, to everyone at the front desk, and especially to the bartender, the young lady from Hunan, whose drinks were exceptionally good! If you're going for hot springs, you really need to find a place nestled in the mountains like this. The resort is built into the hillside, offering a great environment and excellent water quality. These are genuine hot springs – you can soak for ages, and your hands won't even wrinkle. Dining is convenient too, with both Chinese and Western restaurants available within the hotel (Building 3 is close to the back exit if you want to explore the street, while Building 2 is nearer the hot springs). The hotel breakfast has a wide variety. I'll definitely be back. The hotel rooms are also very good and clean; I forgot to take pictures, but I'll do so next time.
