Chevron Palms by Gold Coast Premium

Worst first night as a cockroach was found in the bathroom, which disappeared in the bedroom’s carpet. Managed to kill it the next day after going back to the accomodation. It was running around the living area. The utensils had food residue that won’t washed properly as well as food splatter in the microwave. Wasn’t comfortable using the cookeries and would not recommend this place to visitors wanting to cook. The living area was dark as the light was coming from the ceiling fan and it was using yellow light. No free wifi. Ongoing construction beside which is noisy in the morning. No lift, not suitable for travellers with heavy baggage. Aside from the cleanliness issue, the place is a bridge away from surfers paradise and easy to locate. The bed and pillows were comfortable. If you are checking in late, they would send a text message on how to get the keys which was not a difficult process. There are washer and dryer which is great for traveller. Quiet neighbourhood at night.

This establishment is awesome. From the moment I arrived, the service has been excellent. The room is very well set out and plenty of room for a solo traveler like me. The main bed was a bit hard, but I moved to the flip out sofa and had a great nights sleep there. For the money I payed this stay, it is worth the money you paid for. The beach is a 5 minute walk away and so is Coles and Woolworth's. OK there is the covid-19 here at the moment, but I like to support Australian businesses doing it tough while we fight this virus Take a well earned break and spend it here.

Forego the disgusting and decrepit units. Water not running, nil blinds on windows, missing shower door, fan not working, remote for non-existing A/C and generally loud with building works starting at 6:30am Saturday morning??? Complained to management and did nothing.

Stayed here before , lady asked us to book direct to her next time for a better discount , called her when we decided we was coming back 9 months in advance she gave us a good rate for two apartments , I called to confirm yesterday as we will be there in two weeks time the guy asked who booked it I said your lady staff member , he canceled our booking said to cheap to cheap and blocked my phone number , DO NOT STAY HERE !!!! He will ask for way more than it’s worth , and will cancel your booking and block your number , I have done a video review on all social media outlets with a massive following which has got a lot of attention. So do yourself a favour book at a better place shop around for a better deal this truly ain’t worth the $$$ he wants look at other reviews also , if you want budget accomodation check out anchor down apartments, or if can afford that bit better go beachcombers or tiki apartments they will look after you better than this disgusting place AVOID AT ALL COST !!!

Where do I start? When we first arrived at 2pm we had to wait outside until 2-45 pm as Reception was closed. It was supposed to open at 2-15pm. We went up to our room to find it was absolutely disgusting/putrid! The glass oven door was black with filth on it, the range hood was black & full of grease, the shower alcove was full of mould, the kitchen chairs were all ripped as was the sofa. There were big spider webs behind the TV unit, the washing machine was filthy, there was mould in the bin under the bin liner, under sink full of mould, cockroach baits next to toilet full of dust & webs. Then to have a cockroach crawl over me in bed was the last straw! We didn't sleep the entire night after the cockroach walked over me & sat on kitchen chairs as it was midnight & we couldn't get into another motel until the next day. We left by 6am the next day & the owner would not refund a single cent of our money. He said the unit was clean but I have photos to prove otherwise, oh & for the record another lady that stayed there & was leaving the same time got suspected bedbugs from there as she had red itchy bite marks all over her stomach! PLEASE DON'T GO THE CHEVRON PALMS, IT IS ABSOLUTELY FILTHY & DISGUSTING! The entire room was a disgrace. We lost $1,000 of our hard earned money & as pensioners it's not easy.

Having stayed there before booked for 14 nights paid in advance had email and receipt confirming On arrival told made an error no availability waited for 3 hours then moved to a sub standard apartment at Paradise Towers not one chair just 2 stools My husband and I are in our 80’s and I was recovering from cancer operation Only when my son intervened were we moved to Aloha apartment but had to pay extra funds Was a terrible experience and apparently Chevron Palms made extra funds from moving us to Paradise Towers This experience ruined our long awaited holiday
