This hotel is unexpectedly nice for the price. We were very comfortable and happy with our 5 night stay there. It’s not very convenient to restaurants, stores or attractions by foot, but a short taxi/didi ride brings you to the heart of Suzhou.

The hotel is pretty okey, nice interior, friendly and helpful staff. The only drawback is some trouble with air conditioning, because the air was a bit smelly without the reason.

It's a really wonderful hotel. Beautiful, clean and stylish. Service is good and I had great stay there. Room offer nice variety of free coffee / tea and biscuits but I didn't find any cups. The location is though a bit off. Can be solved with didi and taxi so not a major problem
All in all its good and I would stay there again

We went to Suzhou for our 2nd anniversary and stayed overnight. We looked at many hotels but were afraid that the accommodation would be bad and unhygienic. Finally, we chose the Shuxiangshijia Hotel. The comments said that the service was good and there was no noise around when sleeping, so we came. We asked a lot of questions and they answered us patiently. They also helped us upgrade the room type on the same day. It was really considerate. Because it was our anniversary, they specially decorated it for us. They were very attentive and sent us a small cake. It was a surprise! The environment of the whole hotel is in Su style, antique style. The breakfast is self-service, and you can choose more. There are noodles, rice, porridge, bread, and milk! I brought my children to live here, and I have no regrets. I will come again if I have the chance!
