Great
GGuest UserNot our first time staying here -but we left with a sense of frustration today!
It began when the front desk couldnât find our reservation - twice ! (despite a phone call 2 hours prior to check in). Had to take my driverâs licence and go âsomewhere to talk to someone in the backâ - then he came back (after 2 or so
minutes) and âmagicallyâ the reservation had been found. Unnerving for my identification to disappear from my sight. No explanation offered.
Frustrated again at check out when the desk clerk tried to charge us for something from the snack bar in our room - we had literally left our room 2 minutes before. Couldnât tell us what item we had âconsumedâ (we hadnât consumed anything - especially at those prices!) and then when asked how they could possibly know within 2 minutes (of us leaving our room) that an item had been consumed - they became very defensive and couldnât actually answer the question of âhow do you know what to charge us forâ and the response was âitâs for the report at the end of the day - no one is saying you actually took anythingâ. Except thatâs exactly what the desk clerk said the charge was going to be for - âan item from the snack bar for a total of $4.20â.
After challenging the charge we were told that no charge would be put through on the credit card.
Made to feel like we had âstolenâ something when we asked for further clarification on the charge.
âNo apologies or thank you for staying with usâ.
Disappointing.
Side note - Service in the casino was great - including the restaurant.
GGuest UserOverall it was a decent stay here. Pros:
-Clean room with comfortable beds
-Shower had lots of hot water and good water pressure. -nice clean waterpark with helpful and friendly attendant who did not rush us at the end of the night when our young kiddo was dragging his feet to avoid having to leave - heated pools and 2 water slides made the hotel more appealing for us with having our kids along Cons: - the waterpark slides did not have enough of an angle so we couldnât get down the slides with out having to propel ourselves at times which was odd but also nearly comical
-tiny rooms especially for the price. It felt a bit cramped with the limited furniture and the kids on pull out sofa. - the bathroom door provided zero privacy from the rest of the room with no sound barrier, plus it had a âfrostedâ glass panel as the main part of the door so it was completely see through, and was a tiny bathroom. - no in room microwave so we missed out on being able to heat up leftover takeout from our trip to help us keep costs down and reduce waste unless my husband went hunting for one to use on the main floor, but that was quite a hike when we are on 4th floor so food was cooled right down by the time it made it back to our room. - ordering from the menu at the onsite breakfast restaurant was expensive and the food was quite disappointing. My kids seemed to enjoy the breakfast buffet at least which was free for 5 & under at least.
MMui ChiGreat Location & Excellent Service!!
The hotel is centrally located, close to the university and McMahon Stadium. The front desk staff were very welcoming, friendly, and accommodating to our requests. They kindly upgraded us to a beautiful king-size suite. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. We truly enjoyed our stay! Will stay here again!

Great
GGuest UserItâs the best for a person who has overnight layover! Like they are trained for that specifically.
Free shuttle bus any time is real! But I couldnât contact them by email though. Gotta call them, hope they fix that, I emailed a lot prior to my trip too.
And the staffs are so kind that it made me feel safe and secure that I will not miss my flight đ
If you have to leave early for flight before breakfast time. They will give you muffins and apples!
The room was so big and nice, I wish I didnât have the flight to catch so I can keep sleeping in that humungous king bed.
Thereâs an atm at the lobby.
GGTANKSMy fellow Rotarian and I came for the 2025 Rotary International Conference in Calgary. The stay was pleasant. Service was excellent. Room was cleaned daily which was nice returning to a tidy clean room. Coffee and tea were replenished daily which was great. I will highly recommend to friends and family. The hotel was so close to the airport. Shuttle service was provided to the airport which was convenient. I liked the lobby display ready for the 2015 Calgary Stampede from July 1st 2025 for ten days.
GGuest UserOn the website we chose a room with a jacuzzi, but when we checked in, it turned out that the room was given without it. My husband and I were not happy because we expected one thing, but it was completely different. Moreover, the price was higher than a regular room. At the reception, the man did not want to clarify this issue and said that it was all the fault of the people who put false information on the website. There was no tea in the room, only coffee, which I don't drink at all. There was no ordinary water. Also, when we went to bed, we turned on the heat, because the room was cold, but when we woke up in the morning, our noses were stuffy and the air conditioner was working very loudly, and we realized that it was working all night, it was cold. There were no things like bathrobes or slippers in the room, which also outraged us. In general, the hotel did not make a great impression and satisfaction that we would have liked.
MMichelle BillingtonI always enjoy my stay at Deerfoot Inn & Casino. The purpose of my trip was to hang out with my sister and catch up on our lives. The deluxe queen room was spacious and welcoming. I found a stain on the top sheet when the cover topper fell away. Just looked like a coffee stain, but jeez?! We went down to the buffet for supper, and the prime rib and scalloped potatoes were delicious, as well as the other entries. After we ate, we sat in the lounge next to the restaurant. I loved the big, comfortable chairs we chose to sit on. When I got up to use the ladies' room, my hips were out of sorts for several steps because the chairs are sitting too low. May I suggest they update the furniture as I noticed other older guests having the same issue.
GGuest UserWe thoroughly enjoyed our two-day stay at your establishment. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the service provided by your staff was outstanding. Every aspect of our experience exceeded our expectations. We were very pleased with all that you offered during our visit. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The air conditioner is not easy to operate
In the morning, I want to make a coffee with a coffee machine and open the back of the water. It is full of dust. Should this be changed?
Hygienic: The sanitary details are not good, especially the coffee machine is not cleaned, it is all gray
Facilities: New
Environment: Good
Service: cost-effective
GGuest UserI was a bit nervous after reading some other reviews, but I need not have been. My room was spacious, the bed comfy and the pillows plentiful. My 11 year old grandson, who visited during my stay, gives the pool and waterside a huge thumbs up. His mother, sister and I enjoyed the hot tub while he splashed alone.Â
Breakfast was a bounty! Although I am limited by multiple food allergies, I found more than enough to eat and enjoyed my 2 breakfasts.Â
When I first arrived in my assigned room, I discovered a tool on the floor and a dismantled A/C unit. Before I had time to wonder, a repairman was at the door, apologetic that I had arrived before he could complete his maintenance. He immediately arranged for me to switch to a different room, and all was well.Â
Desk staff were all cordial, helpful, friendly. I have absolutely no complaints about my stay and highly recommend others to ignore naysayers and give it a try. I would be happy for a return visit if opportunity arises. Many thanks for a great stay.
