"The hotel is quite big. It takes a big slope to get there from the station. It's too hard to pull the luggage. I wanted to call to pick up, but the store number provided by Ctrip was one digit less, so I couldn't get through. It happened that a ********* family called the station pick-up number and picked us up together. The hotel is good, the service staff is very enthusiastic, the mountain view outside the window is beautiful, and there is no one in the hot spring at night, so you can enjoy the private bath treatment. You can also open a private bath for free. Because Ctrip's phone number is wrong, I can't contact the hotel, and I didn't book dinner in advance. When I checked in, the dinner was fully booked. I wanted to find food in the town, but the better restaurants were also fully booked. Be sure to book dinner in advance during the peak tourist season."

Amazing
CCoCo.ChanelI booked this hotel because it was touted as one of Asia's top 100 onsen hotels for 2025. However, apart from the hot springs being decent, every other aspect of the service was a massive letdown. To begin with, both the kaiseki dinner and the breakfast the following day were truly subpar. The room was dreadfully small. Furthermore, despite inquiring about kimonos (as there were none in the room) with both the front desk manager and a server, who assured us they would send them up shortly and even took our sizes, not a single kimono materialized by the time we checked out the next day. We paid over 7,000 RMB for a family tatami room for four, including breakfast and dinner. At this price point, anyone staying here is simply getting ripped off. There will absolutely not be a second visit, and I also sensed a certain unfriendliness towards Chinese guests.

Amazing
LlionciaRight as I stepped out of the subway station, I was lucky enough to catch the hotel's shuttle bus. The driver already had the list of guests checking in that day. Our hotel room was incredibly spacious, and the service was truly impeccable. The Kaiseki dinner we had ordered was exceptionally fresh and delicious. The hotel also features a traditional *kominka* (old Japanese house), which is said to be a lovely tea room. However, you do need to make an advance reservation at the front desk. Both the Kin-no-yu (Golden Spring) and Gin-no-yu (Silver Spring) were absolutely fantastic. Despite having a scabbed-over leg injury, I couldn't resist taking a dip in the hot springs. To my surprise, my wound showed no ill effects whatsoever.

NNGUYEN LE HONG SONThe hotel has a considerable history. Situated high in the mountains, the air is pleasant. The Japanese-style rooms are excellent, and the balconies are nice. It has all the necessary amenities for a holiday. The onsen is really good, with many indoor and outdoor baths. Because it's an old and large hotel, there are certainly some areas that could be improved. But overall, it's still acceptable considering the price and the quality of service.
