Hotels in Beitou Hot Spring Area, Taipei

The service, food, hot spring tub were excellent and the staff was very attentive. The only thing I wish could have been better is the outlets to plug my phone into. We couldn’t find one in the bedroom/sleep quarters (Japanese tatami). So make sure to bring a portable charger if you don’t want to be away from your phone. Another advice would be more of a treat if they provided a face mask and sleep wear. The reason I’d suggest this is because another competitor hotel of theirs provided very considerate toiletries for the ladies and I think that was a HUGE plus for me considering we spent a lot of money for one night. Anyways, overall villa 32 is great if you just want to spend a few hours to relax.

It’s a dated hot spring resort that requires some renovation. But I love the location right opposite beitou park. It’s just a short walk to beitou museum and thermal valley too! Breakfast veers more to Chinese food but the basic breads, fruits and cereal are available as well. We love their lu rou fan but sadly didn’t wake early enough and there was only miserable remnants of it. If breakfast isn’t included, there’s plenty of food options nearby with several international food stores available. Futon provided is on the thinner side. So if u aren’t used to hard surfaces, consider getting a room type with proper beds.

Cleanliness of the room was great, room was clean and in good condition upon checking in. The aircon in the room is always too cold, and adjusting it doesn’t seem to make a difference so do take note if you’re sensitive to the cold! The free shuttle bus to and from the hotel to either New Beitou/Beitou station was super convenient as well, and the driver was really experienced, we didn’t experience any discomfort with the winding roads. The personal bath was amazing, super relaxing and could definitely a couple inside with more than enough space to spare! The breakfast buffet also had a decent selection, although some of the seasoning could be quite inconsistent (either too bland/too salty). Would definitely recommend!

The room is very spacious with Japanese style of sitting area of chit chat. The private hot spring inside the room is cool as well as the outdoor public hot spring is a different experience. Do take note to bring along your swimming costume to enter the outdoor public. The amenities in the hotel is nice and clean. There isn’t much choice for dinner at the hotel as there is only 1 Japanese restaurant serving the food. The food is slightly on the high side but the taste is delicious. The breakfast area is decent with many variety of food. There is a convenience store nearby which require about 15 mins walk downhill and it’s pretty dark especially at night. Good for staying to enjoy the hot spring and pamper yourself.

Staying at this hot springs hotel in Beitou was such a relaxing and memorable experience! The location is peaceful yet convenient — just a short walk from the MRT station, making it easy to get around. The highlight was definitely the private hot spring bath in the room — so soothing and perfect after a long day of exploring. The room itself was spacious, clean, and very comfortable, with a calming atmosphere that made it easy to unwind. The surrounding area is beautiful too, with lush greenery and natural hot spring parks nearby. This hotel is a perfect escape for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the unique charm of Beitou. I read reviews suggesting the rooms might be nothing special, but when I actually checked in, the room was sparkling clean and the staff were incredibly helpful. We booked a small room, and it turned out to be much better than I had expected. The hotel is conveniently located not far from the subway, and a taxi ride cost 85 baht. #I didn't get a chance to take photos of the room as I arrived and immediately headed back out. The room was similar to what was pictured online, but the actual place looked even better! 😊😊😊

The hotel is very old. The room is big and overall clean. However, it’s foggy part of the mirror such as palm print. The worst thing was Poor sound insulation. I could hear they were talking, moving case, tv sound. The bathroom is clean but hot water is unstable. Although I don’t like the old equipment and poor sound insulation, I had to admire they are polite and good service.

This is the second time I have stayed here. I love the private hot spring in the room. The check-in time listed is inconvenient and the place needs a little TLC and perhaps some solutions to its predominantly windowless dark feel. In the end you get what you pay for. They are trying to offset their location with a pretty swanky shuttle to the metro station. That would have been good to know when the reservation was made as getting there with luggage on a 40° day could have been avoided and added another star to their service score.

It is an old hotel. Yet, after the recent refurbishment, the conditions have been upgraded significantly. The bath keeps its old-fashioned style, which makes the bathing experience resonate with the local history, In a positive way. The service is very good. The water is strong; the hot spring is milky white. Some may complain about the smell in the rooms; however it is normal from the odor of the real local hot spring. The sound proof is, admittedly, not that good but acceptable. The thing I would feel negative is their breakfast. But it is elder and vegetarian friendly. And, come on, see the price and others. There is no roomfor complaint.
