Friendly and helpful staff. I like the location which is just a few minutes' walk to the mall. Closes to buses to Guangzhou airport, Hong Kong airport as well to Hong Kong. Restaurant is attached to the hotel if you want to a large group dinner.

We really enjoyed staying at the Mandarin Elegant Hotel in Taicheng. It was very convenient to have the bus from Hong Kong stop there. The staff was very friendly and attentive, doing their best to make our stay a pleasure one. The rooms are clean and spacious, with high tech features for lighting and bathroom. The food at the restaurant excellent as well. Highly recommended. Truly a home away from home. We got to know the staff during our stay. Helpful if you know some Chinese.

Loved my stay at the Mandarin Elegant Hotel! The staff are friendly and helped me with any questions I had. The location is also very central and easy to get around. The breakfast variety is also excellent! I would stay here again next time I visit.

We booked a 2 bedroom unit, very spacious bedrooms with lots of light, wardrobe, drawers etc. Balcony good for drying clothes, hanger provided. Bathroom small with poor lighting. Kitchen includes large fridge and plenty of bench space but no equipment except a kettle and cups. No cutlery or plates or bowls. Power system - lighting, air con etc - difficult to navigate. Breakfast buffet limited options. Staff friendly and attentive and speak Mandarin, Cantonese and Toishanese. Hotel is well-located, a few minutes walk to shopping mall with eateries and an excellent supermarket. Great location for exploring the Taishan rural area. We would stay here again.

Non-smoking hotel, but still can smell cigarettes smoke at corridor; and reach gym and swimming pool need to go through the restaurant that is a big minus.....

We are family trips. The staff were very kind and patient to explain the service to us! There is nothing inconvenient for us!

Walking distance to restaurants and chang da chang shopping mall. Ah Si Restaurant has good roast goose.

Location is excellent, the front desk staff from the lobby is outstanding. Above and beyond customer service. 

Rooms are spacious and clean except for some stains at the curtains The 'Alexa/Google home' in the rooms made the stay even more comfortable as everything could be voice controlled. Interestingly, the hotel provides free supper from 9pm to 11pm which makes it very convenient for guests who arrived late in the hotel to have a quick bite without having to venture out. There are washing machines & dryer available in the hotel for guests to wash their clothes. Thank goodness for it especially during winter so we could bring less clothes along. Most importantly, the service from the staff is excellent. Every one we met in the hotel treated us warmly and went the extra mile to accede to our requests. We booked 3 rooms initially then added one more room after one night. Unfortunately, there wasn't any available room on the the same floor. However, the staff actually called us the next day and informed us of an available room on the same floor and asked if we would like to change the room so the entire family could be on the same floor. We were impressed with their attention to detail and their service! Thank you one and all at Mandarin Elegant Hotel for your warmth and graciousness and for making our stay enjoyable and memorable! Looking forward to my next stay in your hotel again!

Two day stay with my parents went very well. Service by attendants was superb. Rooms were spacious and we were afforded a non smoking room as requested. Enjoyed the hotel breakfast and midnight snacks. Location is convenient to a large shopping center, will need to take taxi (inexpensive) to other Taishan locales. Thank you!

A hotel with a great service and amenities. Service from the staffs is top notch. 5 stars for sure. Has a great gym and swimming pool. Keep it up.
