Jiao Tong helped me during 2 days, 3h each days to get a simcard because china mobile don't have prepaid simcard for tourist in Taiyuan. No simcard=no internet=no alipay. We had to in several bank to change my money in yuan because not every office do that. The desk was very comprehensive too. Great thank to Jiao Tong !!

The Rainbow Hotel is located very centrally in Taiyuan and I enjoyed my stay there. I went for a weekend trip in Taiyuan and this hotel was good for my budget and location preference. Great morning walk along the bridge and river too.
The hallway was a little noisy because there was a wedding party during the whole weekend, so I could hear too many people talking throughout the day and night, but I guess that was just my bad luck.
Breakfast buffet was nice also and staff was helpful.

Halfway through the trip, they asked me to take off my shoes. I think it was because they gave guests the same slippers. Also, the room I booked was priced at 1588, but they took a deposit of 2000 and returned me 397. 5 yuan just disappeared. I've stayed in many hotels, but this was the first time I encountered such a terrible thing. Please be careful when booking a hotel. Hotels under Shanxi Culture and Tourism Group are just like this.

Do not stay in this hotel! The whole thing is different, some facilities and decoration are not as good as 7 days like home, some are like star hotels, all kinds of bugs, disgusting, hurry up and close down! At this price, Atour is a hundred times better than it in all seasons!

位置挺好的，在博物院和鐘樓街中間，有停車場。房間面積中規中矩，不過有浴缸。入住還有份特產小零食。延時退房可以到16:00。孩子雖然超過1.2了但給送了早餐。
