"Facilities: The hotel's decor is simple yet stylish. Cleanliness: Clean and tidy, with no obvious dust. Environment: From the 3rd floor window, you can see the South Station and Impression City, offering an expansive view. Service: The front desk staff and cleaning ladies I met were all very friendly. Fairfield by Marriott was our last stop on this Shanxi trip and the most comfortable place we stayed. The hotel's location right next to the train station makes it incredibly convenient for getting around. I highly recommend it to friends visiting Taiyuan! 👍 The hotel also has breakfast on the 2nd floor with plenty of choices and a spacious dining area. Downstairs, there's a convenience store and a local specialty shop, and across the street is Impression City shopping mall, making dining and shopping very convenient. The only slight regret is that I heard the laundry room was temporarily out of service; I hope it's fully operational next time I visit. Overall, the hotel is still fantastic! 😃"

Shengmei Boutique Hotel (Taiyuan Liuxiang Bell Tower Street)

"The service was warm and attentive, and the room was clean and tidy. They even provided complimentary Taigu biscuits, which was a lovely touch, along with disposable bath towels. We drove ourselves, and a staff member personally came out to greet us and helped with our luggage, which made us feel very welcome."

Shanxi Hotel

"The Deluxe View King Room is on the highest floor, the 11th, with the dining area right above on the 12th. Being on the 11th floor offers a really grand view, and the room itself feels spacious. For a summer holiday stay, the price of just over 500 RMB was an absolute steal. You definitely need to book it with breakfast included, as the breakfast alone is easily worth at least 50 RMB per person. They have lamb skewers, white wine, yellow wine, lamb offal soup, chicken wings, and pizza – it's like a mini buffet dinner, with a huge variety of options. The room also gets complimentary fruit, drinks, or yogurt daily, and they even offer turn-down service. The service is absolutely beyond five-star, although the facilities are indeed a bit dated."

Parkview Hotel

"The hotel service was incredibly thoughtful. They provided complimentary fruit for both days of our stay, meticulously cleaned our room daily, and even delivered a special children's toiletries set for my little one. Plus, the breakfast spread each morning was extensive and delicious!"

"My used to stay hotel for overseas trip. Good location and easy to get around thru didi or under ground network. Also easy to get around for all types of foods just nearby"

"For the price, this was excellent value. The room was very clean with all the necessities provided. Aside from this, the service was good. The staff were friendly and willing to help. Some cool quirky things, like a cat and its kittens in the lobby (in a glass play area so still hygienic). Also, coffee freshly brewed in the morning in the lobby. I didn't try it, but I think it was free as it was not in the breakfast area. One of the best cheaper stays I have been to traveling around China."

Hyatt Place Taiyuan

"Our stay at the Hyatt was wonderful. We were able to work in a peaceful, clean, and comfortable environment, which made our time there especially enjoyable. The breakfast was good, and the hotel was consistently clean and well maintained. The staff was very kind and hospitable, always making us feel welcome. A special thank you to Anna, who truly went out of her way to make us feel comfortable during our stay. Her care and attention made a real difference. We would happily stay here again"
