Fantastic! Truly exceeded my expectations. There were hardly any Chinese guests, the service was outstanding, and the setting was beautiful too.

This hotel is beautiful, the beach is gorgeous - even when it is cloudy and rainy like it was during most of our stay. The pools and grounds are wonderful, and the rooms lovely and beautifully decorated.
Breakfast is good too, and all staff were really helpful and nice.
We would definately stay again!

Superb hotel.
Excellent rooms and lush, varied grounds set amidst the jungle. Multiple pools conveniently located near the rooms.

Moracea has a really good location on one of the most picturesque resort beaches in Khao Lak. The rooms are decent, though the resort may be starting to show its age a bit. The only issue we had with our rooms were truly poor pillow quality. We ended up swapping to the lounger pillows and throwing the cases on them instead.
The resort seems to have handled the issue many other reviewers mention about people booking sun loungers way in advance and leaving them "vacant" for hours. If you're out around 7-9am, you ought to find a nice seat by the beach. Even later would still work.
We had some terrific service in general at Moracea. Staff seemed hospitable and friendly, even by Thai standards. We did feel that restaurants and bars could certainly be improved in general, but not at all related to the staff. The food quality for dinner/lunch was really bland, and we opted to eat out every meal aside from a nice breakfast (which had plenty of variety for our tastes).
We would certainly book again.

Nice spacious room, resort style , big restroom with bathtub. Like breakfast on the beach.
Good breakfast, many selections.
Only thing that i couldn’t find in the room is slipper.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in! The rooms are beautifully detailed, and the overall setting is simply stunning. The breakfast was exceptional—definitely a 5+. I highly recommend booking the Grand Deluxe Room with a bathtub for an extra touch of luxury. The beach is absolutely gorgeous as well. My husband and I had an unforgettable stay!
