Keit Hotel

KEIT hotel is located approx. 30 mins. drive from TIA Airport, The RingCenter Mall is a 5 mins. walk, and the city center is 15 mins. walk It seems that the hotel mostly is used by surgery-trip-tourists (nearby hospitals in the area), so you must prepare yourself for a breakfast reminding you more of a hospital than a hotel. My room was on the 3rd floor on the backside which had a small balcony, a comfy bed, good aircon, plenty of storage and electrical outlets. Wifi was good and reliable and tv with many channels. There is also a small fridge which is handy in the heat. (you might want to have a look at the curtains, they need a wash). Bathroom is with shower where toilet is inside the shower cubicle, plenty of space and hot water. Breakfast is served from 7-10AM, with a good selection, fresh bread and fruits. I had some meals from the restaurant which was of good quality and reasonably priced. The roof terrace was not available, but you can sit outside on the ground floor, with the constant fumes of cars delivering what looks like traffic victims :-) The hotel is kept clean, fluffy towels and crisp linnen. I found most staff to be very friendly and helpful. A note to Hotel Keit, I actually choose your hotel because of your advertised roof terrace, which was not available. For me an honest description is very important when booking, you should remove this so guests dont get disapointed.

NEVER BOOK THIS PLACE or you run the risk of being left out in the street of Tirana at 4am. I booked a room in the hotel and received the confirmation. I sent an e-mail to the hotel making them aware that I was going to arrive in the early hours of the morning due to a bus trip from Skopje. Never got a reply though, but I thought there wasn't any issues because I had my room confirmation and they are supposed to have "24h reception". I arrived at the hotel at 4am in the morning, the hotel was all closed, I knocked on the entrance door, I woke up a guy sleeping at the reception desk, I said I had a booking for the night and he said the hotel didn't have any rooms available. I thought it was just a bad joke. How naive. Basically, they had resold the room to someone else without respecting my booking. You can imagine my face at being told that, at 4am, knackered after a long journey from Skopje. The guy basically kicked me out of the hotel in a very rude way and I was left lost in the capital, in the middle of the night, without accommodation. At least I was on my own and I could cope with it, but I can't imagine the nightmare it would have been if that had happened being with my partner, my kids, my parents, etc. You have to be a very despicable hotel to operate this way. These unethical and illegal behaviors should be forbidden and therefore this kind of hotel should be erased from the world. My advice: never book with them just in case, I don't wish how I felt that night not even to my worst enemy. You're welcome.

A great deal for it’s centrality in Tirana. All the facilities offered were working and in good order. The true gem of this hotel is their front desk lady, Nertila. We had to have an entry and exit stamp to be able to avoid quarantine on our return to Abu Dhabi. Three days before we were due to leave, we discovered that we never had entry stamps since our employment in Abu Dhabi meant that we had visa-free travel. This set us off on a bit of a wild goose chase initially, trying to contact the immigration police in order to procure a stamp in the passport. Fortunately for us, Nertila availed her skill sets, more than could ever be expected at a hotel, and she set about calling numbers off her own phone, translating and explaining the problem. She wasn’t put off after the first two or three calls yielded no solution - she kept at it and ultimately we had our passports stamped at the Commissioner of Immigration Services’ offices and made it back to Abu Dhabi quarantine free. I’ve saved this hotel on my Google maps, and recommended it to multiple friends and colleagues who have since travelled to Albania solely because if they have a problem, Nertila will solve it.

Filthy slippers left in the room. Rooftop bar was closed. Water in the shower continuously fluctuates from hot to cold every 10 seconds. Major construction next to the hotel running a jackhammer until 10pm. Virtually no TV channels I could find. On the positive side, the bed was very comfortable and the blanket quite cozy. The young men at reception were courteous and helpful.

Decent spacious room. The cleaning in the hotel could be improved a bit. The bar - while closed - is still a nice place to have a break with a view of the surrounding mountains.

Location is good closed by bus station . Limited service but air condition was not working well .

Checked in evening time . The person on the desk understood good English. Sorted the room out in about 15 minutes whilst he found the booking. Hotel has a lift. My room was on the 3rd floor only complaint I have about the room is the AC. It was over 30c and even on lowest setting never cooled to below 25 by morning. Breakfast was decent with a choice of fruit , veg , sausages and eggs. Would I stay here again ? Yes of course. Room was cheap practical and good value for money

I stay there 4 nights the hotel not in centr but is near u can walk if u like it , the hotel is small but was cleaning & Room was nice but poor facilitates I think that all hotel in Albania don’t have many facilities like Egypt or wide world , staff was friendly but if want use Landry u must give ur cloths to reception by yourself , food not testy but still good
