5 minutes from the station? There is a Z subway, and if you walk about 10 minutes, there is an A-line subway. There is a 24-hour mart right next to the mart, and there are convenience stores nearby. There is also a T-cat bus terminal that goes round to Narita Airport!! The location and accessibility are great. Tokyo is great for going around tourist spots just by taking the subway. The accommodation changed the towels every day and cleaned the room once during the 4 nights. They also provided 2 bottles of water every day. The amenities are very diverse and the best! The accommodation is very clean, spacious and nice! The water pressure in the bathroom is also the best!!

This hotel is located in Nihonbashi Ningyocho, which is super convenient for getting to Haneda Airport on a single Asakusa Line train! You can also get here from Narita Airport by taking a low-cost bus to Ginza Station, then just a few more subway stops. The surrounding area is quiet, with plenty of restaurants. There's also a small shrine, Kogami Shrine, where you can pray for wealth. The room size is decent for Tokyo, and there's a good-sized desk that's spacious enough to hold lots of food and drinks. Check-in and check-out are self-service at the front desk, and you can also store your luggage conveniently. They provide free toiletries, face masks, and coffee, and the coffee tastes pretty good – definitely a plus!

Extremely satisfied. The service was excellent, and the attention to detail was impressive. The bathroom had a drying function, and the toilet had an automatic deodorizer, so there was no odor whatsoever. The location is very convenient, with three metro stations nearby. The hotel primarily hosts Western guests, and most of the staff speak English, so even if your English isn't great, you can still get by with gestures. The restaurant is small but open all day, offering a comfortable place to relax with free coffee, hot water, and nuts. It's also exceptionally quiet. The only minor issue was that the curtains weren't blackout enough, so the room got bright around 4:30 AM.

It was my second time staying in this hostel in about 8 years and it is still the most comfortable sleep I've had in a dormitory bunk (I even overslept a couple of times) in Tokyo. The toilets and shower areas are the most spacious as well. The location is great as it is near multiple metro stations as well as JR Bakurocho station which allowed me to utilise my Tokyo metro pass and JR pass without issues. The service staff are excellent as well. The storage lockers were a little small but sufficient for usage.

All the staff who I interacted with before i arrived (via emails) and throughout my stay are all very friendly and helpful. Room is clean; Shampoo, conditioner and showers gel are provided in the room. Other items such as toothbrush and toothpaste, have to be requested at the front counter. Daily basic cleaning which involves emptying bins, changing of towels. On the 3rd day, they will arrange your beds. Location is at the quiet side of Tokyo, 5 mins walk from Hatchobori and Kayabacho station respectively. You can see a few lawson, 7-11 and family mart; Tomad and Sugi pharmacy and small restaurants along the way from the train stations to the hotel. Mimaru tokyo station east which is along the road, is maybe 2 mins walk from here. Mimaru also has their own luggage delivery service. Recommend to stay here if you prefer a quieter area and nearer to Tokyo disneyland

[HOSHINOYA Tokyo: A Vertical Ryokan Experience] HOSHINOYA Tokyo offers a truly unique concept. It is a traditional Japanese ryokan built vertically within a modern skyscraper, located in the prestigious Otemachi district. It provides a serene, luxurious escape right in the middle of the bustling city, perfectly blending classic ryokan hospitality with world-class modern design. We enjoyed a wonderful three-day, two-night stay at the property from 29 May to 31 May. We chose not to make any meal reservations, which gave us the flexibility to simply relax and explore the surrounding city. [Getting There] We travelled from Fufu Hakone via a day trip to Enoshima and Kamakura. We took a direct train from Kamakura to Tokyo Station, followed by a short walk to the hotel, and arrived at around 8:00 PM. To make the transit completely effortless, our luggage was picked up and delivered directly to the hotel by LuggAgent on the same day. [Arrival and Check-In] The hotel is situated in the central business district and distinctly stands out from the surrounding buildings. The discreet entrance completely shields you from the busy streets. Upon entering, staff immediately store your shoes, as the entire tatami-matted building operates on a barefoot or socks-only policy. We were incredibly lucky to catch a traditional jap instrument performance, which is usually reserved for weekends. A designated staff member managed our check-in with welcome snack & tea and escorted us to level 15. A major highlight is the exclusive lounge on each floor, shared by only 6 suites. It functions as a private living room, fully stocked with complimentary seasonal teas, coffees, and traditional snacks. [The Suite] We stayed in the Sakura suite. Rather than trying to describe the beautiful layout in words, I will let my photos speak for themselves. The beds are low to the floor with a mid-level hardness that we found quite comfortable, and each bed comes with two soft pillows. There is also a television cleverly hidden behind a mirror, though it is worth noting that it only broadcasts Japanese channels. We kept it switched off to maintain the consistent traditional ryokan feel. The provided yukata is absolutely superb. It comes as a full set complete with an inner layer, an outer layer, socks, and a small handbag. The material is soft, stretchy, and incredibly comfortable for lounging and walking around the property. [The Top-Floor Onsen] Having a natural hot spring in central Tokyo is a rare luxury. The onsen is located on the 17th floor and features a stunning design where the roof is open to the sky. As cameras are strictly prohibited, you will have to visualise it or check the hotel website for gallery photos. I understand that the bath is a salty hot spring containing a high concentration of seawater and seaweed minerals trapped deep in the ground. Soaking in this soothing water gently embraces the skin and helps alleviate fatigue in both body and mind. The onsen is open daily from 3:00 PM to 11:30 AM. It was the absolute perfect way to warm up and recharge before we headed out for a busy day. [Areas for Improvement] Toothbrush Set: The provided toothbrush is far too small and takes ages to use. I strongly recommend bringing your own.

The room had everything I needed. And the bed was comfortable. The hotel has a laundry area, so I was able to wash and dry clothes. There was also a microwave in the lounge room, which came in handy on days I didn’t want to eat out. There are a few convenience stores close by, with a 7-eleven next door. It was really easy to walk to the metro lines and Kanda station was well linked to the rest of the city. The area was quiet at night, which I liked after a busy day.

The room was definitely small, but for someone like me who was just staying one night before catching a flight the next day, this hotel was perfectly fine. A pleasant surprise was that the front desk staff could speak some Chinese, and there was a small raffle during check-in where I won a bottle of water and some snacks. The big surprise was the free drinks and udon noodles available during a limited time, which meant dinner was taken care of. The only downside was that the bathroom didn't have a bathtub – out of all the Japanese hotels I've stayed at, this was the first time I encountered one without a tub. On the other hand, the hotel is less than a minute's walk from Takaracho Station on the Asakusa Line, which has direct express trains to Haneda Airport, making it incredibly convenient for airport access.

I didn't have high expectations and only booked this place to save money. On the way from the airport, I was already regretting my decision knowing how picky I am about where I sleep. I even told myself that if I didn't like it, I'd book a hotel for the next night, but it completely exceeded my expectations. The beds were actually more comfortable than those at a famous capsule hotel chain I tried one night just for the experience. It was incredibly quiet at night and the space for opening luggage wasn't nearly as cramped as some reviews made it sound, for me with my carry-on was perfect. I read other reviews, so I brought my own disposable travel towel. I also liked that the showers were spacious and had shelves where you could put all your toiletries. Overall, the place exceeded my expectations.

If it's your first time staying here, especially if you're checking in after 9 PM, you should be careful. I had to pre-register on the guest portal, which I did. I confirmed that I could see the access codes and everything without issue. However, when I was about to head to the hotel and re-checked the guest portal, the access codes were no longer visible. The reason was that although two of us were planning to stay, only one person's ID verification image had been successfully uploaded. While that was my oversight, I found it concerning that the registration appeared complete at first, only to be silently rejected later. If I had arrived at the hotel after 9 PM, thinking I was successfully registered, I wouldn't have been able to check in. If the pre-registration forms are being visually checked, then it shouldn't have been marked as complete from the start. And if it's going to be rejected after appearing complete, then it would be more natural to send some kind of notification. I think they should either fix this with a system update or review their operations. Other than that, I had no particular complaints, and it felt like good value for the price.
