This Ryokan was an absolute positive surprise to us. Although it is a bit old and definitely remote (15km to next supermarket and Conbini), it has a perfect location at this part of the island. We loved the seaview and the outdoor onsen which was free to use. The breakfast was also great and had a big selection of a typical Japanese ryokan.

Bien placé pour la visite du temple et du cap. Le onsen sur le toit très sympa. Pour le reste défraîchi et très ordinaire. Boutique dans l’hôtel d’aliments de base car pas de repas proposé.

酒店優點:地理位置好，巴士站"萬次郎足湯"就在門口。樓頂的露天風呂不錯。
缺點:設施很老，水龍頭分冷熱水兩個，要洗臉還得用臉盆。定食早餐不好吃，有點馬虎。
看到以前評論説附近沒有便利店，其實出門右轉，順着酒店這條路，步行三四分鐘就有一家當地人開的便利店（圖三），可以買到壽司飯糰水果什麼的，基本需求可以滿足。
足摺岬很美，值得來！

Das Hotel ist alt aber liebevoll gepflegt. Die Lage ist perfekt, es gibt ein Onsen im Haus im 2./3. Stock, dazu ein kleines Onsen auf der Dachterrasse. Und wem das noch nicht genügt, der kann das Ashiyu( Fuß-onsen) an der Straße nutzen.
Absolut empfehlenswert ist die Küche des Hauses für Abendessen und Frühstück!!

ツアーで1泊しました。エレベーターは2階から6階まで。自分で階段を使ってキャリーを2階まで運びそれからエレベーターで。7階の屋上露天に行く際も6階で降りて、自分の足で。部屋は畳に煎餅布団、食事は夜も朝も、昭和の旅館そのものの和定食でした。着いてすぐお部屋チェックし、ウォシュレットが使えないことが分かり、部屋の向かいの食事会場の仲居さんに言いました。若い方の女性は「困りますね」年長の女性は「それは私たちに言われても。フロントに言ってください。」部屋からフロントに電話しようと向かうと、たまたま、社長が来たので伝えました。「満室なので。食事に飲み物をおつけします。」「いえ、アルコールは飲まないので。」「ではソフトドリンクでも。」「いえ、けっこうです。」謝罪の言葉もなく。今後、個人利用することはありません。

お遍路宿から今の形になって今年50周年らしいので、建物や施設が古いのは仕方がないとして、食事がイマイチなのも価格に見合うと言えばそれまでだけど、なによりキーを預けたクルマの扱いに腹立たしさを覚えました。 ホテル正面から駐車場所に移動したクルマのロックはかけてなかったし、運転席のドライビングポジションが変更されたまま元に戻していないし、あのようなクルマの管理方法で今まで事故はなかったのでしょうか？？
