Fletcher Hotel Restaurant de Burghoeve

We came here after problems at another Fletcher hotel. It looks nice from the outside, but if you look closely it doesn't look like a hotel from the outside. Parking is already a drama as there are only a few places. And while there's a pro Brit about parking, everyone sets it up so that only 9 cars can be parked. Find out for yourself where you put it. However, we received a friendly welcome in the much too small reception area. Maximum 1 meter wide at the end of a kind of corridor. Key to the room and then we turned out to be in hrt outbuilding. This looks like a horse stable from the outside and in fact this is actually it once. A much too small room where you literally have to move furniture to get to the closet. Beds were also very bad, huge saggy. The bathroom wad the worst I have ever experienced. Even a ba*****t looks better. A toilet with a loose seat, an increase of 80 by 80 cm where you have to shower with a moldy shower curtain. Curtain is so small that the entire surface cannot be protected. When you open the tap, the entire floor will immediately get wet. Entire ceiling was covered in mold. 2 small towels for 2 people. Breakfast room/restaurant is very small. Actually too many tables so you can barely slide your chair back without bumping into your neighbors. Also far fewer tables than customers. I've seen people walking around the hotel with trays of food because there was no place. Fair enough choice with regard to food. You can eat yourself full and there is something for everyone. No complaints about the staff in the restaurant. When checking out, we wanted to pass on our findings. However I put the key down, wanted to say something, but the key was taken, they were thanked and the staff walked away. Unfortunately, never again this hotel and I do not recommend it to anyone. Then only a few tens more for a better hotel in Valkenburg.

3 stars is still quite a lot. I slept in this coach house. What an old mess, no other word for it. Bed bad, room small, have to drag desk to open closet. Bathroom full of mold. Shower curtain that does not fit so always a wet floor. Bathroom and room seem to be from the 60's. Breakfast room small, chairs can hardly be moved without hitting your neighbors behind. Food itself and offer was sufficient

Vreselijk hotel, alles is oud en letterlijk verrot! De douche zit vol met schimmel, schimmel in het raamkozijn, gaten in de douche deur, vieze witte vlekken op het vloerbedekking en op de deur van de douche, het plafond van de douche zit vol met scheuren. Bij aankomst is er geen personeel aanwezig en dit rond 18:00 uur! Restaurant gesloten. Je moet maar een telefoonnummer bellen en je sleutel buiten uit een kluisje halen. Auto parkeren? Geen parkeerplaats meer vrij bij aankomst. Antwoord wat je door de telefoon krijgt, parkeer je auto maar in een woonwijk! Adventeer dan niet dat er voldoende parkeergelegenheid is bij dit hotel! Al met al is dit hotel je geld niet waard. Het is een schande dat Fletcher dit hotel nog gebruikt om aan gasten te verhuren.

Oud hotel wat nodig aan renovatie toe is. Bedden in kamer 5 zijn doorgezakt en in kamer 8 is het bed al niet veel beter. In kamer 8 lagen sigaretpeuken en peuken van joints op de vensterbank buiten. Badkamer heeft nog een douchegordijn waardoor de vloer nat blijft. Vloerbedekking op de kamers zijn versleten, kasten kapot, lampen die het niet doen en kabels die over de vloer liggen. Ramen sluiten niet. Ontbijtbuffet is tot 11.00 uur, maar wordt vanaf 9.30 uur niet meer aangevuld. Brood was bevroren, gekookte eieren niet vers, broodjes hard en taai. Receptie sluit in de avond en er is dan ook niets meer verkrijgbaar. Er zijn niet voldoende parkeerplekken waardoor je verder in de wijk moet parkeren. Het personeel doet dit uiteraard niet. Wij komen hier nooit meer.

Als budget belangrijk is, dan is dit zeker een prima hotel. Kamer was schoon. Hotel is een beetje outdated qua interieur.
