all empl,oyees showed very good manner, very fast check out.
it is a more than 100 years hotel which location beside the beach, but to reach the front desk we have to lift our baggages 3 steps,
a bit inconvenient, but fortunately there are 2 elevators to lift our things, it will be a very good hotel if it can undergo a renovation.

The hotel has a history of more than 100 years! The location is very good, right outside the sea. If you like morning jogging, you can run along the Stanley Park Seaside Running Track, which is exactly 10 kilometers. There are many restaurants nearby, from all over the world! The room layout is also very good, with a separate room, which is very suitable for a family of 4-5 people.

The hotel location is great, right in front of English Bay.
The sea is right in front of the hotel!
Stanley Park is just a short walk to the side.
There are many people walking, riding bicycles, and people who look relaxed.
The hotel is old and the facilities are old, but all the staff are friendly!

We had the best time here in Vancouver at the Sylvia. We would return in a heartbeat. The staff was so nice and very helpful. The building is so unique and quaint. 10 out of 10!!

Excellent service and location. Cute bar/ lounge on site. Great restaurants minutes away- bike rentals / beach all steps away. No pool or fitness Center - but not needed with all the amenities of the city outside your door.

Beautiful location next to English Bay and Stanley Park. Good transport links. Staff were cheerful and friendly. I felt it was perhaps a little expensive for a solo traveller and decor a little dated. Nevertheless would stay here again just for the beautiful walks on your doorstep.

Staff are top notch. Rooms are unique - different layouts. Love the area and walkability. Dozens of restaurants nearby and you are right across the road from the beach and next to Stanley Park. Stay there every time I’m in Vancouver, if they have a room available.
