The hotel is reasonable, very good location with easy access by car or public transportation, kind staff, breakfast is decent even though simple, close to Fox food market which is great. The only problem we had - and I believe it was a misunderstanding - is that our towels were not changed when requested. In total we stayed 4 nights in 3 people and only on the 3rd day we asked to change only 4 towels (2 bath towels, 1 face towel and 1 bath mat). We followed their instructions and left them all on the floor, so we expected they would be changed. To our surprise, the same towels were hung back. Apart from that, things were fine.

The hotel is very cute, the rooms are large, the breakfast is excellent, the staff is very nice, the neighborhood is a leafy quiet suburb with good public transit access (5 minute walk to tram, 15 to metro via a delightful walk through parks). We really did enjoy it. But I took off a star because of the inaccuracy of the listing. There is no parking on site. You can park on the street, but there are only a few spaces that do not require you to move your car every couple of hours during the day (blue zone area). And right now, the restaurant is being reroofed and is closed, something that should have been mentioned in the listing. We got there after a long day expecting to be able to eat in the hotel and were very disappointed. After we got over that, we had a wonderful stay.

Excellent restaurant and very nice and cosy hotel. The food at the restaurant is very good and ingredients of high quality. The pizzas especially are incredible, as well as the pasta. Very warm welcome and friendly staff. The owner is very present and very friendly and welcoming. I stayed quite a while at the hotel and ate many times at the restaurant with family and friends. I asked for a particular type of pasta and he made it for me recurrently even if it wasn’t on the menu (and it’s one of my favourite dish). Feel free to ask the owner for pasta or pizza not necessarily on the menu or to add or modify something in your plate, he’s very creative ! An overall excellent experience alone, and with family and friends !

Location was fantastic -our room (sleeping 3) was very big and even had a balcony looking into the forest - staff in the restaurant were very friendly - lovely breakfast

I'm a regular hotel visitor and business brought me to this part of Brussels. There were few options but next time I will stay further away and commute here, because this hotel is not going to be a future option. It was built in the 80s and remains solidly there. I arrived late, circa midnight and there was nobody there, I had to call a number and the night porter appeared a few minutes later. The room didn't have wifi, though there was a router there, unplugged. Two bulbs didn't work in the room,. The room was cold. I was in Room 11 on the third floor. There are no lifts. The hotel was empty bar one other guest. Perhaps i could have been lower down? The shampoo in the shower came in a sachet, the likes of which I thought stopped being produced 20 years ago. The breakfast buffet was minimalist. Because we were two guests there were two place settings set and two criossants, two pan o'choclat, two slices of white bread, two packets of butter etc. You know, you could put out 100 butters, I'm not here to steal Belgiums butter. I understand frugality around the fresh items (or maybe it is a competition - first one down to breakfast gets all the criossants) but not around the packaged long-life items. Yoghurts weren't chilled.

Au Repos des Chasseurs provided us with a very comfortable room for one night while we supported our son with a house move. The rooms were large and clean. Breakfast was somewhat limited but perfectly adequate. Notably there is no lift to the first floor bedrooms. There were no tea/coffee facilities in the rooms (although we were able to access boiling water in the dining room in the evening). There is no restaurant within the hotel, but a very good one (Au Grand Forestier) a short walk away.
