Watford (Croxley Green)

The location is not very good, not close to the tube.

The room was a good size and everything was very clean. The beds were super comfy and it was lovely and quiet - we slept so well! It was also a nice, easy, level walk to the train station (direct line into central London)

Bathrooms were not cleaned to a good standard, hair left in and around sinks from previous users for example. The sound proofing was also dreadful, we could hear people in rooms all around us and in the hallway and the doors were incredibly noisy.

I had such a lovely stay the staff was amazing especially Danielle see went above beyond my daughter was very sick on our first night arrival and she was so amazing told me the nearest chemist and when I returned she had a 7up waiting for my daughter and even checked in on us the following evening.... Your staff are amazing 🤩 well done lads

The usual comfy bed but everything just worn down and uncared for. Bathroom ok but not as clean as it could have been. Breakfast wasn’t great, poor choice everything running out or just not available.

Grotty restaurant, dirty, graffiti carved tables and ripped seat. Room needed refurb, main bed was ok but my 2 boys were on grotty, dirty sofa pull out bed that needed replacing. Room boiling hot and stuffy and no air con. Very noisy room on main road. Booked for 2 nights, left during the night of the second as couldn’t stand it any longer.

Good location for Wembley trip. Staff friendly and efficient. Rooms tired and dated but in the main clean and tidy. Food and service at Brewers Fayre restaurant poor. Breakfast buffet a total fiasco, run out of food by 10am despite being open for service until 11am, staff blamed staffing levels and had no customer service skills - extremely poor. Reception staff refunded cost of breakfast. Room not cleaned despite leaving door sign and asking reception. No air conditioning so will be stifling in summer. Very good parking arrangements. Great Indian restaurant near train station though - Standard Tandoori.

The receptionist was very friendly and chatty with us upon check in , perfect location, very close to the station and adequate rooms. Only negative I would say is that we had to get a new room key a few times as it would stop working often so we found ourselves at reception but staff were always happy to help.
