The staff was really great. Very friendly and professional, they made us feel very welcome. The property was clean and well kept, clearly reflecting care for it.
Our room was clean and tidy; exactly what we were looking for.
There was one major issue - the shower. We stayed in room 109, which is indicated as a handicap-accessible room. The spacing in the room was fine, as were the toilet and sink in the bathroom.
In the shower, the grab-rails were very firm and secure, and the fold-down shower seat was very secure. However, the diverter to the hand-held showerhead could not be activated unless you could reach six feet up to the top of the standard showerhead. Additionally, the water did not flow into the "trench" drain properly, and instead ran across the slate floor. This is obviously dangerous and needs to be immediately addressed.
If you don’t need these additional nathroom features, this hotel is a fine stay. If you have a mobility challenge, and particularly if you are traveling alone, make sure these ACA issues are addressed before you book.
