Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Macedon

The staff was really great. Very friendly and professional, they made us feel very welcome. The property was clean and well kept, clearly reflecting care for it. Our room was clean and tidy; exactly what we were looking for. There was one major issue - the shower. We stayed in room 109, which is indicated as a handicap-accessible room. The spacing in the room was fine, as were the toilet and sink in the bathroom. In the shower, the grab-rails were very firm and secure, and the fold-down shower seat was very secure. However, the diverter to the hand-held showerhead could not be activated unless you could reach six feet up to the top of the standard showerhead. Additionally, the water did not flow into the "trench" drain properly, and instead ran across the slate floor. This is obviously dangerous and needs to be immediately addressed. If you don’t need these additional nathroom features, this hotel is a fine stay. If you have a mobility challenge, and particularly if you are traveling alone, make sure these ACA issues are addressed before you book.

I like the convenience, value and the location. The bathroom was not very clean, particularly the floor of the shower.

Property was clearly recently constructed. Other guests were very quiet and polite. Staff showed great manners and courtesy when I needed something. Cost was less than half of other hotels in the area. We will stay here again when we return next year

This is a nice clean friendly place to stay. Room was very comfortable and clean.

This place is very new. And so it is designed with the modern traveller in mind. USBs everywhere, no space wasted on closets or wardrobes that’ll never be used… no bath but an awesome shower. Perfect! “Free” breakfasts generally are on the decline… but this one was good by modern standards.

******* says you can book a room here 18 and up but they lied, when I was checking in the hotel said I had to be 21 or older and there was nothing they could do. I couldn’t get a refund and I had to sleep in my car because of this websites false advertising. ******* is 0 stars for me

Hotel is new and modern. Good place to stay for a few nights. It was very busy during the weekend but still well managed.

This property is extremely clean and well kept. The staff was extremely friendly and had us laughing.

Everything looks great; clean and modern. Ashley at the front desk was amazing and super helpful, her assistance made checking in a snap!
