Friendly staff, adorable downtown. We were there for hiking so great place to relax and enjoy hot tub after a day of adventure.

Everything was out of order I wasn't able to use the gym or sauna or anything on the property... there was no elevator to get to the room so we had to wheel our bags up flights of stairs they said they had a restaurant and bar which both where closed ..

The staff treated you like family they even helped us find our next hotel told us a lot about the area we can’t say enough about how great the staff was Michael and Lacey and Max they offered a lot for breakfast. Our room was clean housekeeping was wonderful hiking right outside the hotel was wonderful.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Kandahar. The atmosphere was relaxing and inviting. The fireplace gave such a cozy feel. It was clean and well cared for and the landscaping was beautiful! The breakfast was good and everything was fresh. We liked that there was a little drive up the mountain away from town. The staff was welcoming and helpful. A shout out to Michael for helping us feel at home.
There were a few things that I noticed others complained about in reviews. One was there is not an elevator. We were not surprised by this because we read about it on their website. They offered several times to help us carry things up the steps. In the third-floor loft rooms, the air conditioner is right by the bed. If you go in the fall or winter, probably do not need to use it. We slept in the loft area so the air conditioner did not bother us. We would stay again.

Beautiful lodge in a gorgeous setting. Parking right next to building is limited, but we snagged a good spot often. Lacy at the front desk was extremely helpful when we encountered an issue. Continental breakfast provided a nice start to the day. Wish the lodge had an elevator!

Staff was very responsive and friendly!
Had to climb 31 steps to get our third floor room, so be prepared. Very beautiful area and staff is wonderful.
Beautiful fireplace and great room, fun to be in.

Staff was welcoming, property was spotless. The wood fire, the
REAL plates & silverware for the over-the-top breakfast, was awesome. Highly recommended!
