Travelodge Northampton Wootton

The travel lodge at Wooton was on the outskirts of the town near the m1 motorway The decor is very run down a side door with broken glass and a ****y path greets you on your approach from the car park. The room was comfortable the bed very comfortable. Shower was fine coffee tea avaliable in room. We arrived at 2.00am but not a problem as a lovely girl called Monique I believe sorted us out on arrival letting us use her mobile phone as we had a problem to sort out. Her warm welcome was very much appreciated I asked for an ironing board and iron in the morning again no problem from another female member of staff. Stayed two nights and again was helped by the male receptionist to order a taxi which to Luton Airport had to be booked over the phone this gentleman made the call through his phone. The Toby restaurant annexed to the hotel was also in need of decor refresh bathrooms particularly bad smell. Only instant coffee available with water from an old boiler type of thing really out dated. Should be made clearer that you have to order from the bar section and pay in advance before going to get your breakfast.!!! Overall OK for the money staff excellent let down by the decor and in need of a cleaning modern upgrade. Location would require a car as about 5 miles from northampton Town centre

My family I did not enjoy the stay at the lodge the room was not clean in some of the drawers in the wardrobe they were other people's belongings and there were some sticky stuff even on inside the wardrobe

Excellent location for motorway and also a very nice Toby carvery attached. The bonus as a single female was the lovely lady on Reception whom when checking in made a point of giving me a direct phone number for the hotel team - should I need assistance of any kind. That was very reassuring for a single female business traveller and made a big difference. All Travelodges could learn from this and adopt the same CS policy - I would definitely stay here again, very quiet and a great nights sleep - the only pity was I had to leave so early as would have enjoyed sleeping in there :-)

As always a friendly warm welcome from Debbie. The first room had an issue with a soap dispenser which had fallen from the wall and left soap all over the bathroom floor. The room was swapped quickly and without fuss. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Very good price.

Stayed at the travel for a short business trip. convince the hospitality was second to non! Dawn (I think she was the manager) was very welcoming and nothing was too much to ask! If i am in the area i will always try and use this hotel again ticked all the boxes!

I was met at reception by a very helpful lady, who offered me all relevant information to the area and to make my stay a delightful one. I was even given a room that would be quieter due to my work. I would definitely stay at this location again. Keep it up

Excellent stay over one night. Convenient and easily accessible. Convenient for Northampton and motorway. Good nights sleep. Helpful welcome from Suzanne. Most satisfactory. Will stay again. Convenient Toby carvery for meal without having to travel.

The room was priced very good, it was very clean and close to some of the good restaurants, I had great customer service on arrival, Charlotte in particular was really helpful and polite and I will definitely stay again whenever I visit the area,
