This hotel is recommended by a local friend in Xiamen. It is located on the south bank of Xiamen Island. It is very convenient to take a sailboat and speedboat right outside the Xiangshan Yacht Club. There is also a business district nearby. The rooms in the hotel are also good. The front desk lady Bailey Liu is very friendly and agreed to extend my stay in an executive room on the top floor for one night at the price of an ordinary double bed room (although the executive lounge seems to be abandoned and cannot be used, it is still good on the upper floors). What I like most is the breakfast of this hotel. The price of 88 is better than the quality of 188. You can choose your own ingredients to eat shacha noodles. There are also many kinds of buffet dishes, which is much better than the breakfast of Marco Polo where I stayed (I stayed there ten years ago, so it may not have much reference value, but Tianyuan’s catering is really amazing). Seriously speaking, if I were a Xiamen person living nearby, I would definitely pay for breakfast in the restaurant of this hotel. My friend said that he would also come to this hotel specifically for buffet, which shows the quality.
