Loved this family room. It comes in 3 split levels and it is beautifully designed. The beds are comfortable. Need to be careful of the head room on the loft level. The 2nd shower had a leak but the staff were very apologetic about it and proactive in getting it sorted out. Even though the problem could not be completely rectified during our stay, some temporary measures were put in place which was good enough and showed the staff's attentiveness. One of the table lamps also did not work,however this did not affect our enjoyment of the hotel. The place is really beautiful, quiet and we could have a very relaxing time. Would love to come back. Thank you. Oh we even had beach toys supplied by the hotel for our beach trip. Very good

The room is quaint but comfortable, the breakfast is delicious, and there are some beautiful alleys around. It is very quiet at night and feels isolated from the world. I have to thank the young lady for upgrading our room in the hope that we would have a good sleep.

The hotel is located in an ancient castle behind the Gulangyu Church. We arrived very late, but even in the dim night, we could tell that it was a historic building. I saw the whole picture of the hotel during the day, and I liked both the environment and the style. The hotel lady also contacted us early, gave us a map, and carefully introduced the must-see attractions in Gulangyu. The front desk lady looked at my and my friend's height and changed the room type for us. It was very nice and highly recommended. The buildings we passed by on the way to the hotel were the old consulate and the famous Haitian Hall, which you can enjoy slowly.
