Hotel was clean. Staff were efficient and friendly. One staff member helped me to book a taxi to the high speed train station. The site is next to a scenic lake and the breakfast dining area has a good view of this lake. Due to an earlier GI problem I did not eat breakfast the two mornings I was there. The problem developed before I reached Xiamen. Very scenic surroundings

This shouldn’t be a five star hotel. The facilities , services and hygiene may be belongs to a three star hotel. Breakfast and the lake view room will be the selling point. However, the noisy is a too serious problem which can annoy you if you are a person who cannot fall asleep easily. Suggest you to choose Better one if you can afford to. By the way, the location is good too. Very close to the most popular market.
