We traveled off-peak as Guilin was so hot in May that we didn't dare go out after staying in the hotel for two days. We paid at the front desk to upgrade to a landscape room. The environment was super good and the scenery was beautiful. The room we booked came with a popular train and an artificial bamboo raft. The service staff were all very nice.
