Louis Phaethon Beach

We’ve stayed at the hotel numerous times and it just keeps getting better! We visited the hotel over the Greek Easter weekend and had the best time, so much that we didn’t want to leave! The food, entertainment and facilities were all amazing! All the staff made us feel so welcome and it’s like a home from home. Thank you Phaethon!

Our favourite place, we came back for the 4th time. Tha food is beautiful and plentiful. The animation team well what can I say,they work so hard,they are an absolute amazing team. friendly,talented singers and dancers who put on fantastic shows for the young and old

Very good Value for money in January The food was amongst best we have had from an AI. We only ate out only once and put a stone on in our 3 week January stay. The restaurant had an almost cantina feel to it but was fine with us. We had little engagement with the two fella's in suits manning the door of the canteen. They did however seem to have more time for repeat guests as other reviewers have pointed out. [Edit] one of them asked us if we had enjoyed the meal on our last visit to the canteen. The Bar was relaxed and had entertainers frequently around past our bed time of 21:00. The odd occasion we stayed up we found it to be very good. The bar staff were very good with special shout out to Thomas who is a professional bar tender. Constantly scanning the lounge to see who’s glasses were empty and conducting the waitresses like he was conducting an orchestra. Always anticipating the customer’s requirements. Also a big shout out to the two Nepalese girls who were equally engaged with the clientele. Olympia was pleasantly engaged too with the guests, often getting ourselves and the couple who had befriended us to make fools of ourselves. It was great fun dancing though despite the dirty looks from some of the more reserved or perhaps boring guests. The entertainment team at the time of our visit were very professional, Lead by Siddy who treats her staff like family. Always reading the guests requirements and is ambassador for the Louis organisation. One of the team, ‘Ryan’ stood out from the team. He took the time out to remember the guests names and was sociable in what seemed in a quite genuine grounded way. Multi talented as were all the team. We had lots of banter with this young lad and the wife wanted us to take him home and be his Mum and Dad. The chap made ours and everybody’s holiday special. The shows in the evening were very good and almost cruise liner material, choreography and lines well rehe****d. Our room was at the very end of the hotel. Our fitbits clocked up over a thousand steps on a return walk from room to restaurant. This suited us fine. A quiet room with high floor is exactly what we asked for. I have to be brutality honest with the accommodation. The room looked like it did on the hotel’s photo’s but are slightly more tired. All the above said. We had a great 3 week holiday £1000 less than a self catering in Lanzarote only the Louis Phaethon was ALL INCLUSIVE. I must have drank the Hotel’s stock of Ouzo in my stay. I would recommend this place for older couples on a budget who like a bit of winter sun. Fuddy duddies and the hinge and brackets of the world might like it too if they were to just cheer up and remember they are on holiday.

Where do I start. This hotel was amazing and we all loved our 11 days holiday. Firstly the staff was absolutely fantastic, very friendly and approachable. The entertainment team are perfect, Alex, Alice, Lola, unfortunately I can’t remember the others names. we had daily activities, I took part in archery, water polo, and darts outside. You was always guaranteed a good laugh and joke. There was much more activities on throughout the day also. As a group we met loads of funny people and got on with almost everyone we spoke too. On to the food. Every day they would have a different theme of food, every afternoon you would have standard food at the pool bar and there at 12:30 there is a Chinese buffet. Back at the main restaurant at 12:30 there was more and I would say better food there. On an evening they had some of the best food I have ever had for a while, the was some normal stuff also for the picky eaters. Next the rooms. Our rooms was nice and were cleaned every day (if wanted to or not), however some of the walls were a little damaged and paint fall off in some places, but apart from that I couldn’t fault the room. The bath room was clean and very nice, Every evening there was a different kind of entertainment, and a children’s disco at 8:30 each night. There was some amazing singing and dance performances. As an overall the hotel was amazing and we are already planning on booking for next year.

First time family holiday here and wow!! The staff just couldn’t do enough for you. Very friendly and great food. Rooms very clean and lots to do. My children’s loved it, especially the little birthday celebration they put on for my son, we will be visiting again.

The rooms in this hotel are very basic and small the beds and pillows are comfortable and the rooms are clean. The hotel is large and when we stayed the hotel was full with 1000 people staying in it this made it very claustrophobic. You had to get up early to get a sun bed. At the start of the week the food was really good but after being there a few days this went downhill. I would say this hotel is based a lot on wedding party’s large family groups staying there and on a couple of nights the noise outside was still going on at 2 in the morning it then led to people running down the corridors banging on bedroom doors. The cocktails just tasted like fruit juice hardly any alcohol in them. After seeing other reviews on here I thought we’d be on to a winner here but it was nothing like that maybe because the hotel was full the week we went. If you want a peaceful week away thus is not the place to go.

Stayed here for my sons wedding absolutely beautiful decorating of the pagoda. The manager and staff couldn't do enough for us. Food was lovely, the rooms were lovely very basic and very clean. Will definitely stay here again. Absolutely loved all the pools and the waterslides.

Lovely place had the best time , very clean cleaners are amazing always a nice clean room everyday . Food was amazing staff are very welcoming and happy to help . Will look forward to returning next year. Good location near the beach would defo recommend to hire a car

We have had the best holiday! It was our first holiday with our 9 month old baby. It was amazing! The food, drink, activities, entertainment, everything was brilliant! The staff are amazing, easy to get along with and like to have a laugh. Especially Alex, he is brilliant! Doing activities all day and an amazing singer by night! We also met some amazing people along the way! Also, we both had amazing massages! We only came home yesterday and we are already looking to book to come back next year! Can’t recommend this hotel enough! Thank you for our stay, see you next year☀️🌴Summer and Ethan xx
