Louis Phaethon Beach

A Gem of a hotel, flew in late on a Saturday and as many have wrote we were greeted with lovely staff helpful to all guests. We were encouraged to go eat first whilst the team prepped any paperwork and luggage ready for check in. Hotel is clean, consistently and tirelessly maintained, entertainment started at around 10:30/11 until lunch then again from 2:30/3 until 4:30. The animation/entertainment team are so open and friendly and ensured all were welcome to partake in any activities which many did enjoy. The pool areas were pleasantly surprising spacious with the option to move your sun-bed to the grass or even layout your towel. Waterslides looked fun and the pools were fresh for that mid morning/afternoon cool down. The food was delicious and my opinion that is an understatement (something new daily - sad as I wanted the potato salad I had when We got there which I found delicious). Rooms were kept immaculate as you would expect. One of the most scenic and romantic settings is just 5 minutes walk (literally around the corner) where you can see the sunset (although not exclusive for this hotels guests). We stayed from 4th may for a week and would and I have highly recommended this to friends, family and whoever would read/listen. This is for sure a holiday that we will not forget and will absolutely go back soon

An amazing experience from start to finish! From the moment you get off coach the staff are there to greet you and take your luggage, drinks and cakes on arrival was fab! The hotel is beautiful, the staff are amazing and polite, the food was beautiful with plenty of choices for everyone! The entertainment crew was absolutely incredible with a different show/ act each night by far the best o have ever seen in a hotel! The rooms were spotless, the grounds beautiful and had an amazing time! Will deffo be returning

We’ve stayed at the hotel numerous times and it just keeps getting better! We visited the hotel over the Greek Easter weekend and had the best time, so much that we didn’t want to leave! The food, entertainment and facilities were all amazing! All the staff made us feel so welcome and it’s like a home from home. Thank you Phaethon!

Our favourite place, we came back for the 4th time. Tha food is beautiful and plentiful. The animation team well what can I say,they work so hard,they are an absolute amazing team. friendly,talented singers and dancers who put on fantastic shows for the young and old

Very good Value for money in January The food was amongst best we have had from an AI. We only ate out only once and put a stone on in our 3 week January stay. The restaurant had an almost cantina feel to it but was fine with us. We had little engagement with the two fella's in suits manning the door of the canteen. They did however seem to have more time for repeat guests as other reviewers have pointed out. [Edit] one of them asked us if we had enjoyed the meal on our last visit to the canteen. The Bar was relaxed and had entertainers frequently around past our bed time of 21:00. The odd occasion we stayed up we found it to be very good. The bar staff were very good with special shout out to Thomas who is a professional bar tender. Constantly scanning the lounge to see who’s glasses were empty and conducting the waitresses like he was conducting an orchestra. Always anticipating the customer’s requirements. Also a big shout out to the two Nepalese girls who were equally engaged with the clientele. Olympia was pleasantly engaged too with the guests, often getting ourselves and the couple who had befriended us to make fools of ourselves. It was great fun dancing though despite the dirty looks from some of the more reserved or perhaps boring guests. The entertainment team at the time of our visit were very professional, Lead by Siddy who treats her staff like family. Always reading the guests requirements and is ambassador for the Louis organisation. One of the team, ‘Ryan’ stood out from the team. He took the time out to remember the guests names and was sociable in what seemed in a quite genuine grounded way. Multi talented as were all the team. We had lots of banter with this young lad and the wife wanted us to take him home and be his Mum and Dad. The chap made ours and everybody’s holiday special. The shows in the evening were very good and almost cruise liner material, choreography and lines well rehearsed. Our room was at the very end of the hotel. Our fitbits clocked up over a thousand steps on a return walk from room to restaurant. This suited us fine. A quiet room with high floor is exactly what we asked for. I have to be brutality honest with the accommodation. The room looked like it did on the hotel’s photo’s but are slightly more tired. All the above said. We had a great 3 week holiday £1000 less than a self catering in Lanzarote only the Louis Phaethon was ALL INCLUSIVE. I must have drank the Hotel’s stock of Ouzo in my stay. I would recommend this place for older couples on a budget who like a bit of winter sun. Fuddy duddies and the hinge and brackets of the world might like it too if they were to just cheer up and remember they are on holiday.

Second time here and still love it. Arrived 29th May for 11 nights. We celebrated my daughters 30th birthday which the hotel decorated the table and we were presented with a bottle of fizz and a cake and the fabulous waiters sung happy birthday. Then on the night Shane Lynch took her to the front of the terrace to sing happy birthday to her. People moan about the hotel needing updating well go to a more modern hotel but you wont get the same amazing food and staff. The hotel is clean and the rooms are well cleaned daily. My only gripe was we didn't get our water in room restocked automatically but all it took was a little call to reception and water was brought straight up to us. I also felt the cocktail list seemed better when I was here 2 years ago and the strawberry daiquiris kept running out lol. They are made in a slush type machine. Alway plenty of choices with food never felt the need to go out for food. Met some lovely staff. Ahmed Amar in the restaurant works so hard and always had time to ask how we were and make sure a table was set for us. Fabulous waiters in the terrace bar Demitris, Bemem, Elfeel and the lovely Hany Mohany we miss them already. Such lovely people and I hope they get the recognition they deserve. We weren't leaving the hotel until 8.30pm but with a call to reception at 7am that morning i was able to book a courtesy room for a shower which we had for 1 hour 15 minutes for 5 of us which was ample time. Also had use of the al inclusive till we left which you dont in some hotels. I will definitely be back

We are currently in our last couple of days at the Louis planteon and in the middle of a very hot heatwave. All I can say is wow what an amazng holiday we have had. The entertainment team work so hard and tirelessly all throughout the day and are always cheerful and happy. The rooms are cleaned everyday and clean towels. When I was unfortunately taken unwell through an exsiting condition the cleaning lady was so helpful and was always asking how I was and whether i needed anything. The reception staff were all so helpful and the bar staff would do anything you asked and are always smiling and so friendly. As for the food.. Chinese at 12 and waffles at 4 was the highlight of my day. The food all around the hotel is of excellent quality and always hot and there was always plenty to choose from even for the fussiest of eters. The restaurant staff very friendly and would help and greet you with a great smile and cheerfulness. There is one particular waiter in the restaurant that really shone out for us from the rest and would always greet us upon arrival and arrange a table for us. Very friendly and approachable. Always worried if one of us wasn't there at meal times, and that was the amazing Ahmed Amer. He is an asset to the hotel team and we looked forward to seeing him everytime we have been there. Would we return back to this hotel? Definitely. Even though I had been unwell for a ouple of days hasn't spoilt our holiday at all. Would recommend to everybody.

Arriving here for the second time (were here last year for our daughter's wedding) this time we were treated more like family than guests from all the staff and management who recognised us from our previous stay. We werent sure how we would find it a second time round, but the hospitality, food, beautiful location has made our holiday perfect. All of the staff are excellent but a special mention to Ahmed Amer who is such a joy to meet every morning or meal time, making every effort to make your dining experience a pleasure. He is professional and courteous, but also warm and friendly, always busy but never too busy to ensure you have everything you need. The food selection is varied, extensive and exquisitely prepared - you can never get bored here with the choice of meals. Very high standard, second to none! The entertainment is fun too, for adults and kids. The location is perfect; you can walk along the coast into the harbour area of paphos (or catch a bus if you prefer). A short walk away is a pub, ******, more restaurants. In all we have throughly enjoyed our stay.

This has been a fantastic family holiday. The kids pool is great, the life guards are brilliant and interact with the kids. The pool is shallow so my daughter could stand up and play confidently in the water. We never had an issue finding 3 sunbeds together by the children’s pool. The food is incredible, the best we’ve ever had at an all inclusive - with a different theme each night with lots of variety and lovely desserts. It was our anniversary when we were there and we were gifted a bottle of champagne and a lovely letter from the hotel staff. We hired a car for 3 days from the hotel lobby (got a day for free if you purchase a car for 2 days) and it was a reasonable price. They provided a car seat for my daughter at a small charge of €3. The only down sides I can think of is that the rooms are very small and pokey for a family (we are a family of 3 and it was small, so I can’t imagine what a family of 4 would feel like). That being said the beds are very comfortable and we didn’t spend much time in the room so it wasn’t really an issue. My daughter (3 year old) found the kids disco too loud so she didn’t enjoy it and to be fair to her, it was ridiculously loud, so we only attended once. But all in all, a fantastic family holiday and I would recommend staying here to friends and family. The hotel transfer was only about 20 minutes from the airport on a coach, not the 50 minutes which is stated on the tui website and a late check out time of 12pm was a really nice surprise too as it meant we could go back to our room and shower before being picked up for the airport again just after lunch time.
