The room is very clean, and it smells fresh as soon as you enter the room. The courtyard is simple and elegant, very beautiful, and you can take blockbuster movies in the B&B. Many young ladies borrowed the door to take pictures. The boss is very enthusiastic, and the tea is also very delicious. I was very lucky to participate in the boss's barbecue party, drink with some like-minded people, sit with the person you love, and blow the wind of the ancient city. It is really a great blessing in the world. The people and the scenery are beautiful, and a good accommodation will really bring infinite surprises to the journey. The stinky mandarin fish here is super delicious, the people here are very enthusiastic, and the sunset is even more beautiful. You can choose here for team building, barbecue and relax by yourself, breathe fresh air, and feel the artistic atmosphere of the quaint Hui-style architecture. This B&B is really a surprise. AAlaleiaidiqiuThis time, I stayed at Bo Xin Yun She Ming Jing Yuan, which gave me a poetic memory of Huizhou. The location is excellent, just in the first archway, which is very convenient. The night light show is close at hand. The room type is the ”Book” courtyard twin room. When you open the wooden window, you will see the lush courtyard. The 200-year-old plum tree stretches its branches on the eaves. The quaint banquet in the flower hall and the ingenious exhibits in the intangible cultural heritage museum make people feel like they are traveling through time. The girls are very kind, especially the housekeeper Xiao Cui, who provides thoughtful and meticulous service throughout the whole process, from the warm reminder when making an appointment to pick up the station, the explanation of check-in, to the thoughtful afternoon tea arrangement and the gift of homemade fermented bean curd, and even the business car delivery station is personally arranged. The ”Hey Xiao Qiao” smart device in the room makes living more convenient. The dried bamboo shoots wontons for breakfast and the brown sugar rice cakes for afternoon tea are all homely and warm.
The only regret is that the restaurant was a bit struggling due to the full room that night. It took 70 minutes to serve all five dishes. The waiter was very hard-working and sweaty but still smiled and apologized. I can feel the team's dedication, but the staffing really needs to be optimized. When I left the hotel, I looked at the busy figure of Xiao Cui under the lanterns in the courtyard, and suddenly understood what ”the details show the Zen heart of clouds and water”. If Bo Xin Yun She is a three-dimensional ancient book of Xidi, then this stay is a page of quiet time that is gently turned.

GGuest UserHongcun Yushan mountain scenery house is convenienly located near the South Gate of Hongcun Scenic area. We booked courtyard B which is located outside and behind the main hotel complex with breakfast included. The room was spacious, tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable, and had a small courtyard, but unfortunately no garden chairs or table to sit outside. In hindsight we woud book another room in the main complex next time. It has a lovely open garden and plenty of outdoor seating. I contacted the hotel before our stay and managed by using a voice translator to connect with the staff on Wechat. A friendly staff member met us at the entrance to the scenic area and entry is free of charge when you stay at the hotel. The hotel staff don't speak any English, but they were very helpful and friendly and we got along fine using Wechat and other translators. I won't recommend eating dinner at the hotel as there are many local Chinese restaurants in the ancient village. The hotel offers a coffee shop in the lobby and has a number of options, like Americano, Latte etc. The coffee is very good, but I felt it was a bit pricey for the cup size. The hotel breakfast is Chinese with no Western options, and it is served in unique way in a tray. I enjoyed the breakfast, but my husband would have liked more western options. On our arrival the room was already pre-heated and the beds in the room were comfortable. It was snowing lightly when we arrived and there were umbrellas available in the room. They also provide vanity items. We visited just before the Chinese New Year tourist rush at the beginning of the holiday and this was a very good location and time to visit despite the cold weather. The ancient village was not too crowded and it was nice to walk around in the evenings and daytime with the hotel is situated conveniently right next to the South lake. Drone flying is allowed which can give drone flyers an aerial view of the village. Depending on your iterinary a one night stay is sufficient to visit Hongcun and the nearby Xidi ancient village then move on to another hotel at the foot or top of the mountain or Tunxi village. We enjoyed our stay and can recommend this hotel to travelers wanting a good hotel experience in Hongcun.

GGuest UserMy family and I (5 of us) recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming homestay in Hongcun for two days and one night, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The building, steeped in history at 400 years old, is located relatively close to the West entrance, making access a breeze. The rooms were beautifully decorated, clean, and well-kept. Although I initially booked three specific rooms, they were unavailable due to renovation. However, I was provided with three other rooms that turned out to be more spacious, which was a delightful surprise.
The lobby felt incredibly welcoming, with a cozy living-room-style atmosphere. There’s a lovely café to the left and a souvenir shop to the right, adding a nice touch of convenience and charm as you walk toward the living area. Wan Jie (elder sister Wan), the host, was truly hospitable and attentive. Her warmth shone through from our first phone call, which she answered cheerfully while helping arrange our pickup, as cars aren’t allowed into Hongcun, a UNESCO Heritage Site.
One of the highlights of this homestay was the restaurant nestled in a ”secret” garden—a serene and picturesque spot where my family and I could have happily spent more time. The food was delicious and reasonably priced, adding to the overall experience. Though it was too cool to use during my visit, the homestay also features a pool that would be perfect for summer days.
At the end of our stay, Wan Jie went above and beyond by accompanying us to the village exit to wait for our driver, ensuring everything went smoothly before saying her goodbyes. It’s rare to experience such personalized hospitality, and it made a memorable impression on us.
Based on my positive experience, I would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Hongcun. It’s a unique blend of history, comfort, and genuine hospitality that truly enhances the visit.

Environment: It is just outside the west gate of Hongcun, and it is convenient to go anywhere, especially to watch the sunrise in the morning.
Service: The service is especially good. I called the boss in advance to pick us up by electric car at the west gate parking lot. We chose not to include breakfast, but the boss said that we did not include breakfast but would send breakfast. The breakfast sent was of many varieties and tasted good. It was very comfortable to eat breakfast in the riverside restaurant. The boss also helped us upgrade the room type. The accommodation experience is very good, cost-effective, and highly recommended.

The whole family is unanimously praised. The small courtyard is also very warm. Close to the west gate, not far from the snack street, not far from the moon marsh painting bridge. The boss is super good, the reply is very fast, and the questions are answered patiently. Free luggage pick-up and drop-off, and helped us find a restaurant during the Spring Festival to set a New Year's Eve dinner. Very satisfied 👍

Hotel manager was very communicative, but you need to have WeChat. They can communicate in English by message with you.
The rooms were stunning, service was excellent and the communal areas were beautiful and comfortable.
Hotel breakfast was freshly made and they were able to accommodate our requests.
Some of the rooms require ascending steep stairs, so if you have accessibility needs it would be best to inform the hotel in advance. Bedrooms are comfortable and cosy. The addition of the tea ceremony area is brilliant. The mattresses and bedding were clean and comfortable. Bathrooms were clean with good pressure hot water.
The hotel also put us in touch with a honest and reliable driver that we used for transfers from the bullet train station as well as a trip to Huang Shan (yellow mountain).

The clear stream that has been flowing for many years has been nourishing the village life and irrigation water system for hundreds of years. The old houses of Huizhou Prefecture salt merchants and silk satin merchants are hidden among tallow trees and rice fields. During the period, it tells the past events of Huizhou merchants. The ancient village is a bit sad and beautiful, a bit smart but not lacking in vitality. The vitality truly comes from Tachuan Academy built by a few young people. In Tachuan Academy, you can watch clouds, listen to springs, step on rice waves, smell the fragrance of rice, wait for sunset and admire the red leaves of century-old tallow trees. B&B owners and partners work together with their deep local insights to build a beautiful life platform where rural and urban areas blend. The owners of the B&B are either diligent and thrifty in the rice fields and streams, or studying in prestigious universities, or traveling to improve their knowledge. They are grand, natural, modest and young and mature. The owner of the B&B has never stopped studying after graduating from college. Her longitude, latitude and altitude support her attitude and cognition towards the B&B. A few young people worked persistently on a deserted village and farmland, gathered sand to form a pagoda, and a stream flowed into the river. They finally created the peaceful and harmonious Tachuan Academy, creating a spiritual home that advocates truth, goodness and beauty. Mr. Liang Shuming wrote a book ”Will the World Be Better?” 》. The host and team told me that the world will get better and better, thank you!

GGuest UserA very satisfying stay! The room is large, with simple decoration style, complete facilities, and a clean and tidy environment. I chose the second floor to see the distant scenery, which is great! The surrounding area is quiet and not far from various attractions.
The boss is very considerate and helped arrange carpooling, pick us up at the entrance of the scenic spot, and also provided a tour route. I will stay here again next time I come to play~

SSuThis was a trip that I took my 86 years old mom to travel with me. After a long bullet train ride and shuttle ride, Banyan Tree Huangshan gave us a warm welcome by upgrading our room to a villa. The place is beautifully designed, nested in a valley with traditional Hui style building. Inside the rooms, they have the western style bedroom and bathroom comforts, but the deco is traditional Chinese arts with a modern twist, very elegant, not the tacky hotel chain style but details that fits the surrounding nature beauty. All the rooms and facilities are very clean, and service people are very nice too. We had the front desk clerk Sweet, who updated our stay and a room cleaning lady May Zhang who helped us with our needs. Very thankful to their help!
The outside garden design blends in with the surrounding mountains. They even have a petting zoo for visitors young and old.
We dined in their Chinese restaurant the first night. The foods were good but I won't say exceptional. For two of us, it was way too much in food quantity for one order. We felt bad to waste food this way. Wish they have had smaller choices. But their breakfast is very impressive.
And even though they are very close to Hong Village where the shuttle stops, they did not offer free shuttle which I think they should.
I highly recommend this place and will travel back with my other family members in the future.

早上在庭院里跑步是个美好的体验， 健身房也比一般希尔顿或是万豪好很多。
我们第一晚在饭店的中餐厅吃的，不错但没有特别让人印象深刻。早餐则不同， 选择非常多且很多精致可口的饭菜。
尽管他们离宏村很近但不提供免费接送，这样你从机场或是高铁站坐接送车到此，还需要打车或是付比打车高很多的车费到达悦榕庄。我个人认为这完全可以改进。
