Overall this accommodation suited our needs for the night. There could be improvements with arrival as it was a phone check in when we arrived tired, I like to be greeted by someone which is my preference. Room was clean and en suite, but the height of the room is low down in areas as we had a twin room in the attic. Bathroom door was a sliding one which didn’t feel secure and there was no lock. It was fine for the night but would require somewhere else if I was staying longer.

Thanks for the warm reception staff! My parents and I spent three days and two nights on a perfect trip to York.

It was a very good experience staying in the Vikings. I would definitely go stay again next time I visit to York. It took us 15 minutes walk to the city centre and there is also some cafe and shops nearby.

everything is good，it is not far away from the railway station. i think this hotel is perfect except the toilet because the door cannot be fully closed.

Follow citymapper detour far left, get off the train and walk 20mins, the owner is very good, give a map, introduce the attractions to my place to go, to York sleep back to play 1 day accommodation ok

The room was like a homestay, very warm, the bed was very comfortable, and the chocolates were delicious.

It is close to the scenic spot, the community is quiet, the landlord is very nice, I recommend staying here, the hotel has heating, and it is not cold in winter.

Downstairs is the restaurant, upstairs is the guest room, a bit far from Oxford
