22 Summits Boutique Hotel

My father, myself and two sons (ages 9 and 11) just returned from an AMAZING week staying at 21 Summits. We had a fantastic time and would suggest that anyone going to Zermatt consider staying there. The hotel is a two block walk from the main gondola that goes out of Zermatt towards the Matterhorn. If you want to take the Gornergrat Railroad you do have to take a bus or local taxi, but there is no one place to stay in Zermatt that is walkable to everything unless you are are able to walk a mile in ski boots ( tough if you have kids with you!) We were essentially able to ski in and ski out every day and avoid the long bus lines. The hotel was lovely - newly constructed with all the amenities. All rooms have their own bathtubs and there is a nice hot tub on the deck. The ski lockers worked great. The hotel was always able to call a taxi quickly if we had to go somewhere. The only advice I would offer to people staying at 22 Summits is that they do not do dinner service in the hotel, so you may want to make reservations for dinner at night. I would absolutely go back to this hotel, and as a frequent traveler I feel like I have a high bar which 22 Summits exceeded.

Wonderful accommodations, perfect location just a short walk to the Furri Lift and to all the shopping and restaurants. My wife Megan and I visited for our honeymoon, the family and staff of 22 Summits were amazing, incredibly accommodating and kind. Allison and his pop up kitchen served a first class meal as well! Amazing place, super new and the best part is you walk 1 minute and you get to the lift. Extremely convenient 👌 as it’s also 7 mins walk to city center. I would definitely stay there next time i come to Zermatt. PS: please change these pillows as they so uncomfortable. The mattress is super good but the pillows needs to be out. Overall the place is amazing.

We stayed at this property for our 1st wedding anniversary - and what a find! I chose the hotel based on other outstanding reviews I’d seen and we certainly felt we made the right choice. We were collected from the station by the electric shuttle and quickly checked into our Matterhorn deluxe double room. We loved the style of the hotel - itcould be described is “modern chalet” and the decor is both beautiful and cosy - we live in a chalet in Swiss Romande and certainly took away some ideas! Our room was absolutely stunning, with an outstanding view of the village and the Matterhorn. I’d mentioned when booking that it was our anniversary and when we got to the room we found that it had been beautifully decorated with petals and swans - a lovely touch and very much appreciated. The bed was extraordinarily comfortable and the room was well-equipped, with coffee machine, hairyer and gowns for the spa. Breakfast was a comprehensive continental cold buffet with a good selection of breads, meats, cheeses and yogurts. The staff were excellent throughout our stay and enormously helpful. Our only regret is that we had to leave unexpectedly early in the morning and were unable to check out the spa - but that gives us a good reason to go back, and we’d be very happy to!

We are so wowed 22 Summits. We stayed over the week of Christmas and this place instantly felt like home. The staff are so warm and kind. The fresh display of breakfast made us excited to rush downstairs every morning. The entire place is beautiful and perfect middle location- only a short walk from the gondola (you can store your ski gear in the lockers at the hotel) and down the street from the shops and restaurants. The spa and hot tub are impeccably clean and beautifully designed. We can’t wait to stay again.

This boutique hotel is like in a story!! Is perfect!! Everything is though to give you the best of the stays!! The rooms have everything you may need and is though for you!! At the end of the day and when you come back to your room, a new experiences begins!!! Is a very Cousy place in a wonderful environment: Zermatt. We will never forget this moment in our marriage lifetime !! If you have any doubts were to stay, forget about them and book at 22 Summits Boutique Hotel in Zermatt!!! You won't regret it.

We had a deluxe Matterhorn view room on the fourth floor (402). Yes, it was eye-wateringly expensive, but as the hotel was located at the far end of town, the room probably had one of the best views of the Matterhorn in the entire village. You could sit on the balcony and admire it or lay on the bed, there was even a view from the bath. The room and the bathroom were huge, tastefully decorated, and had coffee-making facilities, bathrobes and a minibar. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant, but this was not a problem with the range of eating options available in Zermatt. Good choice of foods for breakfast and the cocktail bar was excellent. Lovely spa area, which we used each day - especially the Jacuzzi. We really appreciated being able to use it on our checkout day between a very long hike and catching our train home. The hotel is at the quiet end of town, very close to the cable car to Furi/Schw****e, but a good 15 minutes walk from the main station/Gornergrat. We appreciated being away from the crowds. We loved our stay and would definitely like to return.

Great hotel with an excellent room that had a beautiful view of the Matterhorn. Comfy bed and modern bathroom. The breakfast was excellent. But mostly importantly the staff was phenomenal from desk to bar to breakfast… they all made us feel so welcomed.
