1. The housekeeping staff, Zhang Dongmei, provided exceptionally warm and personalized service to our whole family. She gave bookmarks to our two children, ensured our room was cleaned multiple times whenever we left, and even left us a handwritten card wishing the kids academic success. Her thoughtful gestures truly touched us. 2. Our room, 4201, was assigned without me paying much attention, as I've always had confidence in Marriott's service. However, it turned out to be the first room right next to the elevator. We were repeatedly woken up at night by noisy guests exiting the elevator, which severely detracted from our stay. Why would a hotel assign a room in such a disruptive location without consulting the guest first? 3. We were informed of a welcome amenity, specifically a fruit platter and some peanuts. However, after multiple inquiries, it was only delivered to our room around 8 PM. 4. The air conditioning wasn't cooling the room effectively; I ended up sweating profusely while having takeout. A maintenance technician was called, who explained that because the central system had continuously lowered the temperature by two degrees throughout the afternoon, the AC's minimum temperature setting had been raised. After some troubleshooting, the room temperature eventually seemed to drop. 5. The quick-dial buttons on the room phone, as indicated by the instructions, were not functional; I had to dial '0' to connect to the front desk. 6. We repeatedly requested four sets of toiletries for our family of four, but consistently received only three bath towels and other amenities. 7. The breakfast was utterly disappointing. I'd go as far as saying it's the worst-rated Marriott breakfast I've encountered across the country. The dining area was small and cramped; it seemed larger on my previous visit, perhaps they've downsized due to slow business. The variety of breakfast options was incredibly limited. Compared to similar hotels in Zhengdong New District, this breakfast is at least three classes below standard. There were only six hot Chinese dishes, including simple items like potatoes, bean sprouts, tofu, and cabbage. The noodle station offered only one topping: tomato and egg with pickled vegetables and shredded pork. Personally, I feel it's several tiers below brands like Hilton and Sheraton. Even compared to Atour hotels, the breakfast variety falls short by a significant margin. 8. The watermelon offered as part of the Executive Lounge amenities on the 41st floor was overripe and had developed an off-flavor from sitting out for half a day. I requested a replacement, and the server politely brought out a new batch, but unfortunately, that too seemed overripe, if not already past its prime.

I had some initial concerns that the hotel might be a bit old, but those worries were completely unfounded; the standards here are really excellent. The executive lounge was impressive. The staff were all incredibly pleasant and made me feel very comfortable, which completely cheered me up after a rather unpleasant encounter with service staff at '遇见山海' earlier in the day. We experienced a heavy rainstorm, and the view from our high-floor room was absolutely stunning. The swimming pool, though, was quite small.

The Zhengzhou Greenland Marriott truly masters convenience! Located right within the exhibition center, attending expos or meetings is just a few steps away, so there's absolutely no need to rush. My room's large windows directly faced Ruyi Lake, and the night view was particularly stunning. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep, and the bathroom area was spotless and refreshing. For breakfast, there was a great spread, from freshly prepared noodles to Western pastries, and the service staff were incredibly prompt and responsive. Highly recommended for business trips; it's both hassle-free and comfortable.

We chose this hotel because it was very close to the venue for my child's invention competition. It cost over 1000 per night, but the room had a strong musty smell. I suspect it was due to the combination of the indoor carpet and the bathtub; a damp carpet near a shower is practically a breeding ground for mites and mold! What's more, even though I'd already paid for two nights online, they still demanded a separate deposit. They advertised free printing, but there was no staff assistance; we were expected to operate the ancient printer ourselves, which was impossible. Breakfast was very mediocre. The only redeeming quality was the option to have dinner at the hotel, though the dishes themselves were still quite average.

Staying here for a competition with my child, we felt right at home from the moment we arrived! The concierge team was proactive and warm, assisting us with drop-off and guiding us. The lobby atmosphere was delightful. A special thank you to Ms. Judy at the front desk for her professional service. Despite the hotel being fully booked and under high pressure, she maintained a warm smile and thoughtfully arranged for us to relax in the Executive Lounge. (On a side note, the communication style of a burly male supervisor or manager there was a bit stiff; perhaps some additional service training for management would be beneficial). Even when full, the 41st-floor Executive Lounge maintained a high standard of service. The staff were attentive, proactive, and genuinely warm in their interactions. Housekeeping staff consistently greeted us with a smile, demonstrating attention to detail and true dedication. Manager Xiao Guang at the Western Restaurant deserves special commendation! From breakfast to dinner, he consistently displayed the exceptional qualities of a professional manager, with a keen eye for both food quality and guest needs. Other Western Restaurant management and service staff were equally excellent. However, there's significant room for improvement in the dinner offerings, particularly at the grill station and with the desserts. The fitness center experience was a pleasant surprise. The front desk attendant offered sincere and thoughtful advice, making our workout more reassuring. The pool lifeguards maintained a professional and vigilant presence throughout, and this dedication to safety details is truly commendable. Compared to my previous stays, this visit clearly demonstrated a comprehensive improvement in both service and management efficiency. I eagerly look forward to my next stay!

The hotel is quite old, and the facilities are definitely showing their age. The room felt sparse, and the shower, in particular, was unclean and damp. The drain cover certainly wasn't up to the standards expected of a JW Marriott. On a positive note, the staff at the lobby, front desk, and housekeeping were all incredibly warm and welcoming. However, the breakfast experience at the 38th-floor restaurant was disappointing. Perhaps due to the sheer number of guests, there was almost no service; dirty plates were left on tables for ages, and it was impossible to find staff to assist. The variety of dishes was also limited (though this might be a regional preference, as I'm used to coastal cuisine and have particular tastes). What's more, seeing chopsticks stuck communally in a holder on the table felt incredibly cheap and unhygienic. The location, however, is quite good. Transportation is convenient, whether by taxi or subway, and the surrounding lake view is also decent.

I just found out this Marriott Hotel has a cool nickname: 'The Corn Building,' because when it's lit up at night, it genuinely looks like a corn cob! It's such a distinctive landmark. The lovely Ruyi Lake (shaped like a traditional Ruyi scepter) is right there, and the transportation access is incredibly convenient. It's very close to the high-speed rail station, and it's a direct 30-minute drive to the airport with no traffic lights – super efficient! I'll definitely choose to stay at 'The Corn Building' again on my next trip and continue exploring Zhengzhou.

I chose this place because I had a Ruyi Lake cruise booked for the evening. The toilet paper was paper-thin; I had to fold it several times just to use the toilet. The staff carried a kind of institutional arrogance, as if they were very proud to work at a luxury five-star hotel. The first room had an incredibly pungent smell. We switched to another, which was slightly better, but it still didn't smell great due to poor ventilation. Apparently, you can't open the windows in their rooms, and you need a special tool to do so. I went to the pool in the evening, only to find they had no more wristbands available. It makes you wonder why everyone's opting for places like Hanting and Atour these days. For us ordinary folks, it's all about value for money. Paying 700 yuan without breakfast, I guess you're just paying for the night view.

This was my second time I stayed at this hotel and it looks like it won't be the last. The hotel is ideally located in the heart if the Central Business District with all its restaurants, parks and Ruyi lake embarkments, and transport accessibility - you can take the metro to any area of the city, as well as to the airport or both Railway stations. Excellent service at the reception and in the rooms, a good selection of breakfast dishes and if course, gorgeous views from the windows.
