The lady at the front desk noticed we had a child and kindly upgraded us to a larger room. The room was clean and quite spacious upon entry, and the bed was huge. Our family of three slept comfortably without feeling cramped at all.
The hotel pool was also great. It's not open to external private coaching, so when we went in the morning, it was just our family. This was a pleasant change from some hotels that open to the public and become so crowded you can barely move!
And of course, the InterContinental breakfast was superb and extensive. The service was also excellent; staff even proactively offered to make my coffee.
The hotel is connected to a shopping mall, making dining and shopping extremely convenient.
We drove here, and just a small suggestion regarding parking: for out-of-town guests like us, the hotel signage for parking was a bit sparse. We ended up driving around for quite a while before finally finding it tucked away in a corner on Basement 3!

Yesterday, I opted for what appeared to be Zhengzhou's most premium hotel, drawn by its appealing ambiance and convenient location close to the shopping mall. I checked in at 9:40 PM. Having driven all day, I was quite exhausted. After getting back to my room and settling in, I planned to wash up. To my utter surprise, I found a cigarette butt with a long ash still attached in the bathroom. I was genuinely shocked by the hygiene standards at a supposed high-end hotel like this. This is absolutely unacceptable. It completely put me off showering, so I just lay on the bed and went straight to sleep!

This InterContinental hotel truly sets the standard; it's impeccable in every aspect. What particularly stands out is the in-room dining – it offers incredible value for money. For around 50 per person, you can savor a wide variety of delicious local specialties, light meals, porridges, and a whole lot more.
A minor point: the swimming pool lacked clear guidance, and it tended to get quite crowded with children on Fridays and Saturdays, which was a bit overwhelming at times.
Breakfast and dinner also offered great value and were very sumptuous. Regrettably, our appetites weren't great, so we only managed to try a single steak and two bowls of porridge.

The location is excellent, right in the heart of Zhengzhou city center. There's a dedicated InterContinental parking lot on B4 with plenty of available spaces. A minor point is that you have to register your license plate at the front desk before exiting, and this registration is only valid for 30 minutes.

Hands down, this was the most comfortable hotel I stayed at during my entire trip. The bedding was exceptionally comfortable, allowing me to finally get a full, restful night's sleep. The InterContinental's breakfast is renowned for being extensive and delicious. A signature feature of InterContinental hotels is their direct connection to a mall, which makes venturing out for shopping and dining incredibly easy, no matter the weather – truly convenient! The service was also excellent. This hotel is very modern and clean, great breakfast buffet with lots of choices and fresh squeezed juice, not cordial like some hotels. The staff were very good and friendly, the position is very good and close to everything including a connecting mall, the park next door is beautiful. The subway is very close also. The pool is very nice and clean and great spa facilities etc.Would definitely stay again if in the area
