Overall, it is not recommended.
1. When booking, Hurghada Hotel ranked first on Ctrip's beautiful scenery list. Now it seems to be second, but this hotel does not live up to its reputation. You can't see the sunset on the beach. The sunset is behind you. I feel that this list is paid for. The following picture 12 was taken on the beach at sunset. It is not much different from other hotels. And because it is in the bay, the sea level is very narrow, and I don't know where the beautiful scenery is.
2. All-inclusive hotel, but all in-room meals need to be paid separately (ordered through the hotel website, the price displayed when placing the order is 0), but I was not informed, and no bill was given at the final settlement.
3. Two twin rooms were booked, and all were changed to double rooms without being informed.
4. The hotel is relatively new, and the facilities and environment are pretty good.

Close to the airport and easy to the center. We had all inclusive and found the buffets very good ! The staff at reception are very friendly. We were so happy to have lunch and late check out on the departure day
One of the best resorts I have visited in the Red Sea,
I stayed for 3 nights at the end of August, and from the beginning, I felt like I was at home،
the staff are very polite and professional and do everything they can to fulfill your needs and make you have a quality and happy time,
starting with the reception manager Mr. Mohamed, the person who takes care of all the guests with a beautiful smile and high professionalism,
to the cheerful chef Ahmed in the restaurant and all the staff there.
The pool is kinda small but it's nice and clean, the beach is too long and has a multi beautiful spots for snorkeling and also sandy in some other spots.
There's only one towel center on the halfway between the pool and the beach.
The food is delicious and you'll always find something you like and they serve cold and hot drinks in the 3 meals, btw I stayed in some other higher-reviewed and higher-priced resorts in the same area and i didn't totally like their food.
I really recommend the place and it will not be my last time there.

Pamper yourself with a visit to the spa, which offers massages, body treatments, and facials. After dipping into one of the 5 outdoor swimming pools, you can spend some time at the private beach. Additional features at this hotel include wireless internet access (surcharge), concierge services, and a hair salon.

1. Good location, not far from the pier and gobus station.
2. The standard room with a price less than 250 also includes three meals. Children can stay for free. The value for money in the entire Hurghada hotel can be considered as the best. The bed is not as big as 1m-1.1. If you bring a baby, the bed will be a little crowded.
3. The room is spacious, the decoration is a bit dated, and the hygiene is fairly clean.
4. Three meals in general, vegetarian food, not too many varieties are enough; there are many desserts, beverages, sodas, coffee, milk, dinner, rice, etc. Chinese people can basically eat. A snack was delivered to the room in the afternoon on the first day, but not the next day. I do n’t know what happened. Is it only delivered once during the stay?
5. The scale of the hotel is not large. Although the sparrow is small, it has all the internal organs: swimming pools (not big, and can't sink water in winter), children's playgrounds, small zoos (monkeys, birds), and beaches. It can fully meet the needs of vacation.
6. Breakfast is available at 7:00, which is good. Those who participate in the water project have enough time to eat before they leave.
7. There are various items reported next door and in the hotel, the price is not clear, at least very convenient.
8. Ctrip's price is much cheaper than the hotel's front desk. If you want to stay, it is still cost-effective to place an order with Ctrip.
Booked in Ctrip, this cheap price can also be all-inclusive, the winter swimming pool is very comfortable to swim, the water park is also free. There are also restaurants available outside the buffet every day, including two Chinese restaurants, which should be said to be the most cost-effective hotel in the world.

Very Good
GGuest UserGreat resort not far from the airport where there is plenty to do for people for kids of all ages. Thrill seeking water rides, splash parks, foam parties, stacks of pools and sundowners, fitness activities, gym and sauna plus feast of food choices and drinks on tap. Great service from the staff there and a really fantastic holiday!
ФФилатовИванEverything is predictably clean, neat, nice guys at the reception. Just keep in mind that the pools, in my opinion, are heated only by the sun - so the water in them was not higher than 24 degrees, neither in the children's nor in the adult. And you will have to accept right away that there will be only toilet paper and liquid soap in the bathroom, but these are all trifles. The staff tries, the territory is well-kept, the a la carte restaurants are modest. The food is good.

Steigenberger Aqua Magic Hurghada – A 5-Star Resort That Feels Like 2 or 3 (depending on the topic). Before booking Steigenberger Aqua Magic Hurghada, we did our research—watched videos, checked reviews, and set our expectations accordingly. Listed as a 5-star hotel on Google and TripAdvisor, we expected a premium experience. However, once we arrived, we quickly realized that the reality fell far short of the rating.
1. The “All-Inclusive” That Isn’t Quite All-Inclusive
The hotel advertises six restaurants, but the all-inclusive package only grants access to three—and even that comes with strict limitations. You must stay at least five nights to even qualify for reservations; otherwise, the buffet is your only guaranteed option. But even if you meet the criteria, getting a reservation is a struggle, and once inside, you’re pushed to pay extra for items outside the package. The upselling is relentless, from premium wines to certain dishes, turning what should be a relaxing meal into a sales pitch. Oh, and if you were hoping for fresh juice with breakfast? Extra charge.
2. Facilities: Decent, But Not 5-Star Worthy
✔ The pool, beach area, and lounge are well-maintained.
✔ Bars are available all day, and staff work hard to keep areas clean.
✖ Some rooms show clear signs of neglect, making this feel nowhere near a true 5-star hotel.
If this hotel were truly 5-star, there wouldn’t be visible maintenance issues, questionable service, and inconsistent quality across the board.
BBryce van de LaarThe Solymar beach resort is not the most expensive resort in the Hurghada/Safaga area, but it’s also not the cheapest. Because of this, we were expecting it to be quite middle-of-the-range in terms of quality. At every turn, we were pleasantly surprised and delighted.
The staff were friendly and courteous - whether at the reception, in the restaurant, or walking past someone watering the grass, you are guaranteed a friendly greeting. Everyone is quick to know their customers - after just a day in our usual spot on the beach, Ahmed knew our usual order. The hyper-energetic Magic Entertainment team members were also quick to build rapport and make us feel included in the resort vibes.
We plunged immediately into extreme relaxation with a “honeymoon massage” at the spa, which included time in the dry and steam saunas, a special hammam exfoliation ritual on a heated marble slab, a full-body Dead Sea mud wrap, and an oil massage. The masseuses were talkative and playful - possibly not to everyone’s taste, but this seems to be the Egyptian way and certainly got me smiling and giggling along.
There is not a moment of the day when you might be at risk of going hungry. From the early breakfast in the main restaurant, to the late breakfast at the beach, to the drinks and snacks on offer throughout the day at the pool bar and restaurant, there is always a wide array of quality F&B choices. There is some variation from day -to-day options, and it’s always worth checking out the “fresh-from-the-grill” area to see what the day’s speciality may be. Part of the stay includes one complementary meal at one of the two a la carte restaurants (Italian/Egyptian) where the food is a level or two up from what’s served in the buffets. Go hungry - the Egyptian meal included a starter of hot and cold mezze, a soup, a main course and a dessert (with alternative plant-based and kiddies’ menus).
The resort has done a lot to ensure that it is eco friendly. Apart from the usual request to hang up towels to save water on unnecessary cleaning, they also purify their own water, which is left in your room in chilled glass bottles (it tastes a little weird, but it’s good for the planet).
Overall, highly recommend the Solymar resort.

The service? 💯 Simply amazing. Every single staff member I interacted with was warm, professional, and genuinely cared about making my stay unforgettable. From the front desk to the housekeeping team, to the restaurant staff – everyone was so helpful, attentive, and always greeted me with a smile. It’s rare to find such consistently outstanding service.

GGuest Userthis hotel was beyond my expectations .we are extremely satisfied.the staff is very kind, helpful.their service is just great.almost all of foods were delicious.they also keep hotel very clean.we enjoyed our vacation and strongly recommend.
GGuest Userwe had a family reunion at Panorama form October 31 to November 7,2019, we had 7 rooms
The Location is Excellent , walking distance to downtown ElGouna
Rooms are spacious, food quality is good, Staff very courteous and pleasant
the only problem we had was confirming reservation with the hotel
Overall experience was very good, may book it again in the future
HHuseyinOzcanHotel is half-pansion system means you have a good breakfast and a good dinner. Hotel has her own beach and heated pool. If you used to huge hotels this hotel is like a small nice boutique hotel.
Hotel is very clean. Rooms are cleaning every day. Bottled water, coffee, tea and kettle are suitable every day in the room. Flat tv, refrigirator and clima are in the room. I couldn't be able to start the clima machine for heating but there is a good machine. You ask hair drier from reception for free.
Restaurant is also clean and meals are enough and delicious.
If you will go to early tour hotel prepare your breakfast for free and if your tour return late hotel prepare and serve your dinner late. Just tell the reception you will go early and returning late. They just ask 50 eygpt pound per person for packing the meals.
1 gb internet for room is not enough for the stay but you can buy extra from the reception.
Only one card for a room and extra charge for second room card is not fair.
Whole employee of the hotel are very kind and try to help you but each of them should ask everthing to manager.
Taking pitza or something from outside is a problem. Also alcohol is not permitted in this hotel as mostly in Egypt. I think hotel needs more customer needs and pleasures based; not rules based.
They need to have a fair price for early checkin and late checkout. May be just for shower.
Tour desk in the hotel is very helpful and fair price.
If you have any problem find Mr. Alla and Ms. Ruvan. Your problem will be solved faster.
I advice my two friends to checkin this hotel and they checkin. I will come back.
GGuest UserLovely hotel ,3 pools …pool with slides, Kids pool and then another family area with pool.
We had to move rooms as we had no hot water … but they moved us no problem.
The outside areas are lovely … bars around the pools … the only suggestion would be to have nibbles and also ice has to be available … the beach bar no ice at all again this is a no brainer.
The food needs overhauling by a chef … hot food generally not hot enough. No chips for kids .. no burgers … the menu needs changing and the cooks need training from a chef
The quality of the food needs a lot of improvement… many guests not happy one said it was a culinary catastrophe, a lot started eating out.
When you get there you are given a coloured wrist band and the staff will see you are a new arrival.
I saw new arrival guests get approached by on site staff selling , massages, nail and beauty makeovers, trips, and ice creams … as many as 5 approaches in 10 minutes.
In 5* hotels these people are at stations around the hotel and when guests are ready they go to these stations .. they don’t get hounded …the massage guy approached me 3-4 times a day.
Some of the trips need vetting
The service was ok and all the staff was friendly … the animation team need new outfits .. I couldn’t really see what they did to be fair .. no games to get people involved.
Overall it was a nice stay .. but there is a lot to work on .. I hope they will see this honest review and make changes … it could be a 4-5* but it will
only be a 3* if they don’t make changes
