"The property needs refurbishment. I stayed in 2 period and thus in 2 different rooms. The air conditioner was not working properly in both room. The first room is a one bedroom suite. They pre arranged a portable air conditioner in the room. It is very noisy and the window needed to be kept open for the the exhausted air tube to be extended outside. The air conditioner in the 2nd room got air coming out but thats not cool air. The staff is helpful and offered me an electronic fan. The lamp on the wall only got light bulb without cover, which was functional but not expected. Location and staff of this hotel are good, so depending on the price, it could be considered."

"The location of the hotel is OK. We took a taxi here, which was not too expensive, and it is very convenient to the attractions in the city. The hotel can store luggage, so it is very easy when we go out. The room is small and crowded, but it is very clean and well-equipped."

The hosting was a bit strange because I am a gold member in this chain, but I didn't book via their site ... also staff told me that I had no right to my usual privileges. The hotel is in a good position. Excellent breakfast with regional quality products. The room is a little small for 3 people, but quietly, in a city full !

Hotel have great location and just walk distance to Lourdes Sanctuary. Receptions staff friendly and quick response with our request. We have experience the aircon does not work in the afternoon and water heater does not work in the early morning. Hope they could better in the future.

The hotel's location is superb, right on the central square with the Town Hall nearby. There's a public underground parking lot beneath the square, and plenty of dining and entertainment options in the vicinity. Most major attractions are within walking distance. The hotel was exactly as the photos showed. I was surprised to be asked for 150 euros deposit, This needs to be more transparent before booking. It’s difficult to find where this wording appears. Also my room on the 5 floor was almost impossible to sleep in due to very strong cooking smells permeating my room, from where I’m not sure. A shame because the hotel is very convenient for the main railway station in Toulouse.

Here’s a clearer, more polished version of your review while keeping your honest tone: ⸻ B&B Hotel Toulouse – Review The hotel is in a great location for visiting Cité de l’Espace. We were able to park at the hotel and walk to the attraction, which was very convenient. The staff we encountered were lovely, and the room was very clean. There was also good free Wi-Fi and a wall-mounted TV. However, there were several drawbacks. We arrived at 9pm and found there were no staff on site. Instead, we had to use a digital check-in system to obtain codes for both the building and our room. As there were two of us, the system required separate details and email addresses for each guest before issuing the code, which was frustrating after a long journey. The restaurant next door was closed (it doesn’t open on weekends or public holidays), so we had to walk over a mile to find food, which wasn’t ideal late in the evening. The air conditioning was ineffective, it made a lot of noise but didn’t actually blow any cool air. We ended up opening the windows, but it was a very hot night, so this didn’t help much. The bedding wasn’t 100% cotton, which made it uncomfortable in the heat. Finally, the shower was extremely small and wouldn’t be suitable for a larger person. No carpets in the rooms.

I arrived in the evening after a long train journey. The receptionist whose English was brilliant immediately put me at my ease, giving me all sorts of useful information - including where to get a meal and how to get out from the garden side. My room was across the garden and largely unlit so it was a bit of an adventure getting there the first time. The decor and facilities in the room itself were a little 1960ish., though it did have an iron and ironing board so I was able to neaten myself up before going out. I did feel a little nervous using the shower as the bath was plastic and I’m a large old guy. I found getting in and out slightly tricky. Breakfasts were good though.Montpellier itself was strange - lots of grandiose architecture but not much shade. The old town was slightly disappointing somehow (but then I was only there for a couple of days). Leaving was complicated by another national day of (in)action. When I heard that the tram I needed to get to Montpellier Sud de France station had been held up by the demonstrators in town, reception came to the rescue and ordered me a taxi so I was able to get the train back. So to sum up a quirky hotel with terrific staff.

We stayed at Hôtel Golf Fontcaude for more than a week during winter, and overall, it left a very clear impression of being well maintained and thoughtfully equipped. For a longer stay like ours, this made a huge difference. Being able to prepare simple meals and settle into a routine gave the place a practical, almost apartment-like feel. That said, staying there in winter came with one small drawback. The floor was quite cold, and without carpet, it was noticeable—especially in the mornings. It didn’t ruin the experience, but it’s something worth knowing if you’re visiting during the colder months. The room wasn't large, but it was fully equipped. The hallway and lobby were a bit basic and dirty, but the room was fairly clean. There was also a small refrigerator. There was a washing machine on the basement floor, but you had to download an app to use it for a fee, and there was only one; it wasn't very clean. Everything else was fine.

I have stayed at Hotel Continental several times over the years and it never disappoints. It is good value for money, the hotel is spotlessly clean, very close to the sanctuary and with several shops, including restaurants and take-out venues, nearby. It has a welcoming feel to it and lovely, helpful staff. They changed my room since there was availability without any fuss when I found that the original room had a bath and I have problems getting in and out of one (admittedly, this was my fault as I should have stated so during the reservation, but I'd never had a room with a bath before and I assumed all rooms had showers). I was informed that the fourth floor was all recently fitted with air conditioning, which is not a common feature in Lourdes hotels as far as I can remember. Even though I had a room partially overlooking a busy street, the double-glazing did its work and the noise didn't disturb me at all. The buffet breakfast is also very good for a three star hotel. Overall, I was very happy with my stay and would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Lourdes.
