This was one of my favourite spots in my one week trip around Northern Xinjiang. Most tours will include this place in the itinerary as well as an overnight stay in the village itself which is great. The whole area is quite large and definitely easier to get around the different spots by renting a scooter. Otherwise you can also use the shuttle buses to get around. While here, I would recommend waking up early in the morning and take a short walk up for the sunrise views, it's beautiful and you get a great view of the whole village from the top. #summervacay #xinjiang

One of the reason we had chosen to revisit Kansas in winter is to gain the rare experience of tossing hot boiling water into the freezing air and watch it evaporate instantly into water droplets. The temperature was minus 33C, and no joke it was freezing cold but it doesn't stop us from having fun! The air was so cold that our hair and eyelashes frozen! The scenery in Kansas during winter was exceptionally beautiful. The snow was like a big white blanket covering the ground and river. The texture was so soft and fluffy. Witnessing snowy-covered landscapes, staying inside cozy cabins, indulging ourself in a cup of hot chocolate and coffees while jokingly laugh at the funny moments of our journey was such a fantasy for someone who come from a tropical country like us.
