🔮 I stayed at the Sky Bay Hotel located right in front of Gyeongpo Beach in Gangneung. First of all, the hotel is situated between the beach and the lake, offering great views both front and back. This is definitely the highlight of the stay. I stayed in a room on the 15th floor, and the view of Gyeongpo Beach from the terrace was absolutely stunning. The Executive Twin Ocean View Room had a double bed and a single bed, along with amenities like a tablet, TV, and electric kettle 🌳. The bathroom was very clean and well-maintained, which I appreciated. Shampoo, conditioner, and body cleanser were also provided 🍁. The hotel also has convenience stores and restaurants, making it very convenient. Above all, the location right in front of Gyeongpo Beach offers a fantastic view, and with Gyeongpo Lake right behind, it's perfect for a lakeside walk or a bike ride 🍂.

Crossing this bridge is also a delightful experience with its scenic views.

This time, I stayed at Skybay Hotel (스카이베이호텔) by Gyeongpo Lake, and it truly exceeded my expectations 😍 I booked an executive ocean-view room, which is just a two-minute drive from the 씨마크호텔 I stayed at before, but much more budget-friendly! The highlight of the hotel is undoubtedly the infinity pool on the 20th floor 🌊. Open from 7 AM to 1 AM, it even hosts lively pool parties after 10 PM 🎉. When the pool's ambient lights come on, the whole scene becomes incredibly romantic and dreamy. For just an additional 20,000 KRW, you can enjoy a beautifully crafted cocktail 🍸, making the experience even more enchanting! The hotel offers rooms with either lake or ocean views, both of which are stunning. Although the bathroom is smaller compared to 씨마크호텔, the open balcony makes up for it. Sitting there at night, listening to the sound of the waves, is pure bliss. The L-floor lobby directly connects to the beach, which is just a short walk away. Since it was a Sunday, the beach was quiet and serene. Gangneung's ocean is breathtakingly beautiful—make sure to visit on a sunny day when the water turns into a gradient of jelly-like colors, absolutely mesmerizing! The hotel has a breakfast restaurant on the first floor and a dinner restaurant on the 20th floor. I recommend booking a package that includes breakfast and pool access. After breakfast, you can head straight to the beach for some fun!
