It's recommended to bring thicker clothes 🏨About accommodation Staying on Xiamen Island, it's suggested to choose hotels from the train station to Zhongshan Road area, as it's more convenient for travel, especially near the subway, since most of Xiamen's attractions are on the island~ 🚇About transportation If you take a high-speed train, it's advised to get off at 'Xiamen Station', which is more convenient as it's in the city center. If you arrive at 'Xiamen North', you can take the BRT or subway line 1 to the island. Gaoqi Airport is on the island, and after leaving the airport, you can take the BRT or the airport bus🚌 🍜About food Xiamen mainly offers Minnan cuisine, snacks, and seafood, which are generally sweeter and lighter. It's suggested to reweigh it at the market entrance!! ❌Don't drive by yourself, there are many people in Xiamen and parking spaces are hard to find, plus it's very congested during holidays.
